Standing in her little childhood bedroom with so many emotions swirling in her head. In the past twenty years she's afraid to comeback in her old house and face her past. She don’t know how to handle the trigger everytime she remembered that worst childhood incident but now she realized that she must be grateful after all dahil ang lahat ng nakaraan niya ay ang naging dahilan kung ano siya ngayon.

That past was the reason why she became inferior at naging matatag siya sa lahat ng unos na dumaan sa buhay niya. She is strong now because of them. Because of her dark past. Now, she's happy for the chance to visit her old home with this man standing beside him. But that was the last time they visit their old home because they both sold it. They planned to  let go their past and start their new life together in the new place.

Visiting old memories and making new one it’s all blessing. The pain was gone, the wounded heart finally cured, but there is a scar still remains but it’s okay because it made us realized dark days are not forever. There is someone coming in our way to help us to grow and lift us from grave and heartache created by past.

“Are you okay?.” Zeljko observing her.

“Yes I’m okay. The pain wasn’t there anymore. Zeljko choose to be quiet but his heart was bursting and blessed.

“And glad dahil ikaw pala ’yon.” She smiled at him.

“And I’m so thankful dahil ikaw rin pala iyon. I always remembered about that little girl, I thought she's gone at hindi niya nakayanan ang sitwasyon niya. He pondered.

“That time, I’m so scared to be alone in that room--”

Zeljko stop her from talking and remembering her past. “Don't be scared. Hindi na ako aalis sa tabi mo.” He hush her. “Okay.

She said.

“It's okay. I always understand.

“But I wish I could stop the time para matagal kitang makasama. Pasok ka na naman bukas.” Dagdag pa ni Zeljko.

“This is romance story not sci-fi. Kung gusto mo ng ganyan ’yong books ni Anak ni Rizal ang basahin mo because she know how to manipulates time.” Pagbibiro ni Mairi.

“I want to travel with you.

“I know this would happen from the very moment we met again. That day, we first meet, I knew and I feel that it isn’t the last time na magkikita ulit tayo.” He said while caressing her hair. Mairi was enjoying this moment with him.

“Because you made me happy that night. You made me comfortable na hindi ko man lang naramdaman sa ibang tao. The feeling of being safe. You’re a stranger pero I have no doubt to trust you. I’ll never hesitate na magtiwala sa’yo.”

“Yes. I'm so happy beside you. I found my smile again and I'm enjoying every memories we had and take note, we’re not really a stranger for each other.” He smiled. “Marry me.” He added.

The beach and the sunrise brings her home. Mairi feels she belong to that cozy place. All of her life she’s dreaming, goal setting, hoping to have the best  possible life for herself alone.

“When I watch the sunset above the sea, I just sit back and see what the universe is creating for me and it is a reminder that everything is perfect in the moment.” She whispered to him while their cuddling in the chair watching the sunset.

“Thank you for bringing me up her. Thank you, you pulled me away from my comfort zone. This is the best morning I ever had.” Mairi giggled while cuddling with Zeljko.

“Dati pangarap ko lang ang tumira sa gilid nang dagat but now it happen, this is like a dream. She said.

“I also dreamt about it pero wala naman ako’ng kasama sa romantic place na ito kaya ano naman gagawin ko dito? That’s why I searched you and finally I found you in that abandoned building.” Zeljko laughed.

“Yes. May punto ka nga.” Mairi giggled.

“So now, everyday, we start and end our day by watching the sunrise and sunset on that clear beach that waiting us to come home almost a decades.” It’s Zeljko.

“Wait. Everyday? Us? So, hindi na tayo aalis dito? No works?.” Usisa ni Mairi.

“Yes if you like, then so be it. We stay here forever.” He said while hugging her and give a kiss on her forehead.
