THE ONE WHERE NANA DIES TWICE

Start from the beginning

Rachel stated exasperated, "Yes, Chandler, that's exactly what it is. It's your hair."

"Yeah, you have homosexual hair." Phoebe informed.

"No, no, no. Chandler- don't listen to them...I actually like your hair. It's not homosexual." I added quickly.

Joey giggled in the corner, "sounds like someone-"

"Shut up, Joey." I rolled my eyes at him as Monica and Ross entered.

"So, um, did she..." Rachel asked

"Twice." Ross sighed.

"Twice?" Joey asked confused.

"Oh, that sucks!" Phoebe leaned back on the couch.

"You guys okay?" I asked.

"I dunno, it's weird. I mean, I know she's gone, but I just don't feel, uh..."  Ross sat down on the armchair.

"Maybe that's 'cause she's not really gone." Phoebe added.

Ross stated, "Nono, she's gone."

"We checked. A lot."  Monica added.

"Hm, I mean maybe no-one ever really goes. Ever since my mom died, every now and then, I get the feeling that she's like right here, y'know?" Phoebe said as she circles her hand around her right shoulder. Chandler, puts his arms on my shoulder and pulls me away from Phoebe slightly,
"Oh! And Debbie, my best friend from junior high- got struck by lightning on a miniature golf course- I always get this really strong Debbie vibe whenever I use one of those little yellow pencils, y'know? ...I miss her." Phoebe continued.

"Aw. Hey, Pheebs, want this?" Rachel handed her a pencil.

Phoebe lit up, "Thanks!"

Rachel laughed, "Sure. I just sharpened her this morning."

"Now, see, I don't believe any of that. I think once you're dead, you're dead! You're gone! You're worm food!" Joey exclaimed as he realized his tactlessness, " ...So Chandler looks gay, huh?"

I put my shoulder on Chandler's back reassuringly.

"Y'know, I dunno who this is, but it's not Debbie." Phoebe handed Rachel the pencil back.

ROSS ENTERED THE apartment as me, Monica, and Rachel were getting prepared for the funeral, "How we doing, you guys ready?"

"Mom already called this morning to remind me not to wear my hair up. Did you know my ears are not my best feature?" Monica stated sarcastically.

"Some days it's all I can think about." Ross joked.

Phoebe then entered, "Hi, sorry I'm late, I couldn't find my bearings."

"Oh, you-you mean your earrings?" Rachel laughed.

"Phoebe looked confused, "What'd I say?"

"Gotta love you, Pheebs." I smiled at her.

Rachel stuck her foot out to show off her shoes to Monica., "Are these the shoes?" Monica asked.

"Yes. Paolo sent them from Italy." Rachel smiled.

"What, we-uh- we don't have shoes here, or...?" Ross asked.

Joey and Chandler then entered, "Morning. We ready to go?" Joey asked.

"Well, don't we look nice all dressed up?...It's stuff like that, isn't it?" Chandler asked.
