Once upon a time there was a little girl named Lilly. Her parents were strict very strict about many things but never as strict about anything as her skin. She wasn't allowed to draw on her skin, pick at it and most of all never cut it. She had to take very very good care of her skin. But poor Lilly began hating her skin. She didn't feel comfortable in her skin and wanted it gone so she began scratching and picking at her skin causing her to bleed on her arms and legs. Because of this she wore hoodies and long pants.
Lilly's parents often left on trips and would leave her home alone to take care of the family pets. Normally Lilly would use this opportunity to pick at her skin but another bright idea clawed itself into her brain. Lilly at first didn't like this idea but it began to spread in her mind like a virus and it was all she could think about. She thought about it constantly while waiting for her parents to take their routine trip.
Finally the day of her parents trip had arrived. She said her goodbyes as they left. When she was sure they were gone she went into the kitchen. Looking around at the tan walls that watched her. Her skin feeling suffocating. She picked up a knife admiring it's clean smooth silver surface wondering how it would look after her plan was complete. She held the silver blade to her skin and made one, only one, long cut. She stood there a moment admiring her blood dripping down her arm and off the knife. Slowly she pushed her fingers into the wound grabbing her skin firmly. She pulled her skin making the wound larger. The red color under her skin she thought was so beautiful. She pulled the skin more, slowly ripping her skin off her body. Seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours. When she had accomplished her task she felt free. No longer would her skin suffocate and trap her in a body she despised.
But something was wrong... With no skin holding her blood and innards inside of her she began to feel dizzy. She sat down laying her head against a kitchen cabinet door. Finally at peace she felt no fear. She was free from her imprisonment. So Lilly closed her eyes and fell into an eternal slumber, leaving her corpse for her family to find.
