It was a sunny day out I wipe my face with my glove and continue to shovel the dirt. I grunt in the heat a hand I jump unknowing who it was I turn my head " I'm sorry for startling you I was just wondering where the new rose garden might be" he said smiling I get up and how to him my hair falling forward. He lifts my chin up and pulls my hair out of my face. He thought for a moment his eyes narrowed he looked at me, smiled and put the rose in my hair " how about we go to the royal jewlery room" he suggested I lit up " but I'm not allowed in there sir" I said " one If your with me you can go wherever you want and two you can call me james" he said I smile and nodded I get up and walk with him in the castle he holds my hand his hand is warm and soft he smells like butter cream he looks at me not with anger or calm but happiness pure happiness. Once we got to the jewlery room he went to a silver crown with bright blue sapphire crystals he picked it up he then walked back over to me " put your head down..." he mumbled I barely heard him but yet I did as I was told. His veiny hands puts the crown on my head I looked back up at him and he smiles " the crown looks good on you...darling" his soft veiny hands cup my face as I pick my head up " thank you and my name is darling it's River" I said he nodded and kissed my forehead " I - I should get back to work James" I stuttered over my words he took the crown off my head and handed me a rose necklace ( not me reading over this book and my heart melting) " thank you James" I thanked he put the necklace on me my face turned bright red " bye flower boy...."
