     Ellis's POV
Stupid moving trucks. So much noise.

I never wanted to move, anyway my two brothers were fine; Jack, my oldest, is in college, anyway, David, closest, to my age, is in his senior year. The stars of my family.the jocks. I'm pretty sure David is gonna high up on the social radar pretty fast.

I never wanted to move. Back in NY, I was a classic, under the radar, high school girl. I had to BFFS, Kylie and Jenna, and we'll still chat. I had a pretty happy life, but a few months ago, when my dad decided to change it all by deciding to move, I went... rebellious. I bought alot of black clothes, I became loud, I get what I want, etcetera. And I only started because I wanted a little attention from my dad. My mom left us, when I was born, of course, when I was born. My dad won't tell me much though.

I guess tonight my plans are staying up super late , maybe unpacking a bit, then sleeping in tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow I'll go exploring the city. Maybe find a friend. A little bit about me, you ask?? Ok:

I am 5"2, I'm a brunette, greenish blue eyes, I stand up for myself, courageous, and trust me, I may seem like not your type of friend or even girlfriend, but I get stuck to you. You'll learn more further on.

I slept well, I guess. My room just has a giant mattress, walk in closet, and a big bathroom. It's gonna be any girls dream once I settle and get unpacked.

I get back to my senses, rub my eyes, and force myself out of bed. I'd probably just lye in bed for the rest of my days, if I could. Life, eh?

I stalk to my bathroom wearing my normal pj's, a crop top and short shorts. Or just a big shirt, sometimes, or maybe even a sports bra and short shorts. Or, I'll steal my brothers un- used boxers. I know. I embrace my weirdness. I get washed up really fast. When I get dressed, I just throw on the first thing I see- a black tank top with the Harley logo on it, and short shorts. I don't really care much for my appearance, but I'm not saying I don't care at all. The closest thing to makeup I'll ever wear is eyeliner. Now, I put on the bracelets that I've managed to dig up from the bottom of some box. Plus, one of my watches, ready to go. I grab my phone and look at the time. It's already1:45. When I say sleep in, I mean sleep till 1.

Where's my dad? Is he even here, I need to get used to this house, laden my way around. Whatever. I get to the kitchen, where the car keys are, and I find the jeeps keys. I'm almost 18, bit I always use one of my dads cars to get around. It's not like he notices. How did they even get the cars here? Mysteries of life.

At the front door, I shout with all my effort, " DAD!!! DAVE! I'M GOING OUT!!" Then, a really fast reply came from David, whom I call Dave.

" Then just leave!! Don't have to be so loud!! " he sounded like he was at the steps, on his way down, or maybe upstairs.

"Well, it looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Loser. See ya!!"

"I'll get you for that. Bye."

He may be a jerk  a lot of the time, but he's my brother, and I love him. He gets most of my personality.

I've let the windows down in the jeep, letting my long strands of brown hair fly everywhere. The mall, I guess, Is my destination. Just going wherever the wind takes me. I wonder where it is....

As if on cue, I see a sign that has the directions for a bunch of different places. Thank God. Rose Wood Mall, here I come. After parking, I step inside one of the vast entrances. The cool air hit me like a wave of adrenaline. That felt good.  I wonder around for about 30 minutes. Buying something here and there. I've got my purple sunglasses up in my hair, and I'm just... wandering. Maybe it's time for something to eat.

Apple Bee's, or McDonald's? McDonald's. Apple Bee's is more formal. After just getting my meal, the weirdest thing happens. While I'm on my phone, and eating, this boy, with blonde hair and teal-ish eyes sits across from me.

" Hey, bae. I saw you from the other side of the resto, and I just thought you looked lonely."
Jerk. Who do you think you are?

"Well, I'm not looking for company, you maniac"

He looked taken back. He's probably not used to being turned down.

" Ooh, looks like the new girl Is being bitchy cause she got no-" and I slapped him. New girl, what? He didn't see that coming. Too egotistical, and busy thinking he can get away with any girl.

" I'm not afraid of you. Now fuck off, retard. " I say, ready give him a bigger piece of me. " Don't call me bitchy when you don't even know me. If anyone, you're the butcher here."

I fought with slot of boys, football players, and girls, since I was a kid. This guy was lucky to get off that lucky. It was my Uncle Ross who taught me how to do it. Next, the boy does the unexpected. Still clutching his cheek, he grins. A smug grin.

"You'll wish you hadn't done that." Now there were a lot of people staring. "I'll get you back" he says, right before getting up and taking my fries with him. When I look back up, he's been swallowed by the crowd.
