"Milo, that's incredibly thoughtful of you," she said, gratitude evident in her eyes. "I know you'll find the perfect person for the position."

With a warm smile, Milo continued, "Once I've taken care of that, let's celebrate together. It'll be a well-deserved occasion for both of us."

The idea of celebrating with Milo lifted Vivienne's spirits. They had shared many trials and joys during their time at the palace, and marking the end of this chapter together felt fitting.

"I'd love that," Vivienne replied, her smile growing wider. "It will be a celebration of new beginnings and the possibilities that lie ahead."

'I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one considering quitting. If Milo decides to leave as well, it means we'll both have a lot of time on our hands,' Vivienne thought, a glimmer of excitement entering her mind. 'With more free time, I could finally have the opportunity to hang out with him, or perhaps even muster the courage to ask him on a date.'

As the day wore on, the familiar sound of the Crown Prince's arrival reverberated through the palace corridors. With a customary loud bang, the door announced his presence, stirring a mix of anxiety and determination within Vivienne.

Seizing the opportune moment, she mustered her courage and approached the Crown Prince. Handing him the carefully prepared resignation letter, she spoke calmly yet firmly, "Your Highness, I have something I need to discuss with you."
