Then the Snatcher projected the memory.
Ian fell back at the sight of the Snatcher,
"FOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, you unlucky soul, bet you thought I was a myth."
Ian watched in fear as the Snatcher laughed.
"If you don't mind I'll take that brush of yours."
The Snatcher takes the brush from Ian in relative ease.
"Wait please don't take that someone- someone special gave it to me."
Seeing the desperation in Ian's eyes was in experience which was new for the Snatcher.
"Y-you know what you can have it painter, it's not like I want a stick anyways."
It was easy to tell that the Snatcher himself did not know why he did that,
"Thank you, thank you so much."
"But next time you won't be so lucky."
The memory projections ended with the Snatcher teleporting away.
The Snatcher cleared his throat and wiped his eyes. Then started another memory.
"Aha" Ian's confident voice rang.
Confused the Snatcher looks back and finds Ian staring at him, clearly proud of himself.
"Ok before you get mad let me explain, I went into the forest looking for you, and it a few hours to find your spot, and by you can call prince now cause I just got engaged an-".
"Why were you looking for me again painter."
The Snatcher looked hilariously confused.
The Prince looked down," because we're similar in ways you can't imagine."
"YOU THINK YOUR SIMILAR TO ME? I'M ONLY A SHADOW, HALF OF ONE YOUR TELLING ME YOUR THE SAME?"
"Ever since my mother died I was like you, only half of what I am.Then I found Vanessa, something that reconstructed me."
"I was hoping to do the same for you".
The memory projection ended and the Snatchers continued by voice.
"The two of us became friends, he was right. The two of us were so similar."
"He helped me recover but that's where things become sideways."
"A few days after they engaged, Vanessa's corrupted mother passed away but not before corrupting Vanessa."
"She became more clingy, more obsessed, but the being at the end of time didn't want the royal bloodline anymore, it wanted the Prince."
"And so a day before marriage the ritual happened, the Prince was chained to the wall, as the book was in Vanessa's hands as she chanted."
"The being should of took the Prince's body completely but Vanessa regained sanity last second, causing the ritual to fall."
"However half of the being was sent into the Prince's body."
"The day after he asked me to hide a mask, it looks like the dweller mask you two have but red".
Snatcher then performed a memory projection.
"I hid the mask as you asked."
"Thank you, it would've of been a real trouble, your a true friend."
The Snatcher teared up on this real world and memory.
But when the Prince shook the Snatcher's hand it froze, and the Prince changed.

The Snatcher had to hide back into the shadows as he watched his former friend freeze and kill all of subcon and at the end his soul escaped his body and turned into something else.

Then the body and thing vanished.
The memory projection ended.
The Snatcher began again,
"The moonjumper hid in the horizon for 500 years fight for control with Ian, but he won over control, and now he is back with the Prince's body as his slave."
"Wait he doesn't use red strings right." Thor asked uncertain.
"That's him, king of puppeteering."
Chooooo-choooooo.
They all run outside to see the owl Express come to a stop in front of Snatcher's tree.
And the two birds come out.
"FOOOOOOOOOOOOOLS, AHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAhaha....
Bow eyes widened when she realized why he stopped red strings.
The counducter pulled out a modified Heckler & Koch MP5(machine gun).
While DJ grooves set on the ground a modified RPG 30(rocket launcher).
A multitude of bullets and rockets are sent the hero's side, most are avoided except for a bullet that hit Crane's chest.
Instead of piercing through Crane it bounced off rather harmlessly, except for the fact it looked like he got punched hard in the chest.
Pain seared through his body making him a easy target for a volley of rockets.
The rockets were strong enough to destroy part of Snatcher's tree which was also the part that held it together.
The big tree collapsed and Crane was an easy target for the tree.
