The Flash: Barry Allen (part one)

I turn back around, "Yeah?"

"I love you," Barry slurs

I'm stunned. He normally just says love you, but something tells me this is different. But he's getting married to Iris, he doesn't mean it like that. He can't, right?

"Love you too bare," I say

"Y/n, I mean it. I love you," Barry says a little clearer

"You're drunk, you don't know what you're saying. Get some sleep," I turn and leave before he can say anything.

I sit on the sofa in the living room as I wait for Iris. Like 2 hours pass and I hear the front door. I turn around and see Iris. Her hair is all messy and her makeup is smudged. I then notice a little stumble and limp in her walk. This could only mean one thing.

She gives me a dirty look, "What are you doing here?"

"Taking care of your fiancée, while you were out doing god knows what. Cisco said he tried all of you multiple times but no one answered," I say, trying to keep my anger down.

"Why do you care?"

"Because iris, Barry loves you. Any girl would be lucky to feel the love he has for you. Meanwhile, you're out cheating on him!"

"So? You don't know anything, y/n. For all I know, you probably only took care of Barry to try and get in his pants!"

"No Iris, I didn't. I did it because you weren't here too. I will always be here for Barry when you aren't. So instead of accusing me to trying to get in your fiancèe's pants, why don't you go take care of him."

I got to the door and open it but stop when Iris says, "Admit it, you love him."

"I do, Iris. I love Barry more than anyone knows. But I ignored those feelings for Barry. So he could be happy with you. All I want is Barry's happiness, but not if it's with a cheater like you. So either you tell him, or I will."

And with that, I left. I got in my car and drove home. I needed someone to talk to so I texted Wally.

Wally is the only one who knew about my feelings for barry. When Wally walked into Joe's life, he also walked into mine. he's one of my best friends.

Y/n: I know its late but can I talk to you?

Wally: Of course, what's up?

Y/n: Cisco made a drink for Barry so he could get drunk for his bachelor party. Well, he got too drunk and Cisco called me to pick him up

Wally: Why didn't Cisco call Iris?

Y/n: He did. He tried all of the girls but got no answer. Which led to him calling me

Wally: Why weren't you with them?

Y/n: I wasn't invited. I didn't even know Iris was having her bachelorette party until Caitlin told me

Wally: That's messed up

Y/n: Yeah but anyways, I brought Barry home and took care of him. Joe asked me to wait with Barry until Iris got home, so I did. I waited like 2 hours only to see her messed up

Wally: What do you mean?

Y/n: She had sex hair and smudged makeup. Can't forget that she was stumbling and had a slight limp in her walk. Iris cheated on Barry weeks before their wedding

Wally: Wow

Y/n: If she did it this time, she may have done it before too

Wally: I never thought Iris could do such a thing

Y/n: Me neither

Wally: What are you going to do about it?

Y/n: I told her if she didn't tell Barry, I would

Wally: I hope she tells him. It will be better if he hears it from her

Y/n: I hope so too. I don't wanna be the one to break his heart because of another woman

Y/n: Barry also told me he loves me. He said he loves me and he means it

Wally: Oh wow

Y/n: I don't know what to do. He was drunk so he may not have known what he was saying

Wally: Drunk words are sober thoughts

Y/n: What?

Wally: A lot of people when they are drunk, say things they would never say when they are sober. Therefore, drunk words are sober thoughts

Y/n: Should I tell him?

Wally: Just see how things play out and go from there

Y/n: I will. Thanks for letting me rant to you

Wally: Of course

Wally: Night Y/n

Y/n: Night Wally

I plugged my phone in before setting it on my nightstand and going to sleep.
