Circus Of Dreams

Through the shimmering stars and cotton soft clouds.

Far far away nestled next to the smallest star.

On the north side of the moon, you shall find the circus of dreams.

Moon beams guide you in a star dust haze.

The lights blaze to life in this surreal magical place.

It's like nothing you have ever seen.

The ringmaster grandly bows, stepping aside as the enormous tent comes to life.

Balloons in every color and size bob in the air.

Clowns parade out shouting "welcome!"

Their antics wild and carefree.

So much for the eye to see.

Elephants, ponies and bears prance out, putting on a magnificent show.

The acrobats seem to dance elegantly through the air on their swings.

So graceful as if they had wings.

The trumpets ring out loud, as the tigers line up to jump through blazing fire rings.

As the night fades to day and the stars snuggly tucked away in clouds to sleep.

The circus slowly dissipates as it seeps into the cloudy mist.

The bigtop, an inky abyss in nights dusky mist.

Illusory bliss shrouds this magical place.

The clowns look on sadly, waving good bye.

As you awake, wiping the star dust from your eyes.

You see with great surprise, a large balloon with a clown face, floating nearby.

Was it a far off enchanting magical place or a mere dream?

Only the man on the moon can tell you it would seem.
