Chapter 1

TW :Needles and torture

Holly's POV

'Holly' Thor shouted from on the rainbow bridge. 'Yes uncle' I shouted from inside of the palace. All of a sudden the door swung open revealing a tear-ridden figure looming over me. 'You have to promise that what I am about to tell you won't make you angry or lose control.'

'I promise uncle', I replied confused as to what was happening. 'I don't know how to tell you this but' Thor says hesitantly. 'Just spit it out Thor,' I replied. His mouth opened and closed as if he was going to tell me but no words came out until he finally spoke, 'Your father he fell off the bridge and well Odin told me to tell you that you have to be sent to Midgard to ensure your safety.'

'But uncle I don't want to leave and I definitely don't want to go to Midgard'. I spoke with tears in my eyes. 'These weren't my instructions little one, they were Odin's and you know that you can't go against your grandfather's words besides at least then we know that you are safe.'

'But why can't I go to one of the other 9 realms but if I have to go to Midgard then I'll go as long as you promise to bring me back once you know it's safe.' I spoke out. 'If that is what you want then I will.' Thor told me firmly. 'Okay uncle' I didn't hesitate to argue because I knew that I would never win an argument with Thor. 'Get packed with things you will need' Thor stated.

30 minutes later

'Thor I am ready but I still don't see why I have to go to Midgard.' I shouted. A minute later Thor bursts through my door and tells me to follow him to the Bifrost. When we get there I greet Heimdall. Heimdall greets me back with a kind expression. Me and Thor walk into the Bifrost and get ready to go to Midgard. Once Heimdall puts his sword into the spot, me and Thor enter this beautiful golden ray until my feet land smoothly on the ground. We landed outside of a house, large and looming over us. Thor knocked on the door and it opened to reveal a scrawny man.

The man told me that his name was Dr. Abraham Erskine.

A few months went by, me and Erskine were getting along well, he even treated me like his own. He came back one morning and told me that he had found someone to experiment his super soldier serum on. Erskine said that I could go with him. I have never watched him ever do an experiment on anyone but he has told me that the last one he had done didn't turn out as he expected it to. It made his face turn red and him to barely have a nose. He was called Johann Schmidt.

It was the day of the experiment, ever since he found this man Steve Rogers he wouldn't stop talking about him. We set off to go to the lab and I saw Steve in there already. I had a weird suspicion that something was going to happen but I wasn't sure what.

When the experiment was over I saw someone take one of the serums and they saw me looking at them. They walked over to me and injected me with some type of sedative. I looked at Steve and saw that he was talking to a lady and didn't know that I was trying to get his attention. The next thing I knew my vision grew black and my eyes shut.

My eyes opened and I was surrounded by white walls looking directly at each other apart from one wall and that wall was made out of glass so I could see the outside but outside there were more white walls facing each other. Across from mine there was another room and it looked like it held two people in it. One was a young girl and had blonde hair and the other was an older man and had long brunette hair.

A few days after I arrived, I got taken to have experiments done on me. When I got back to the cell, I got thrown into the cell and the guards slammed the door. A few minutes later I heard the door swing open and my heart sank to my stomach in fear. I looked up and saw the young girl and the older man looking at me worried. "Excuse me?" She asked. Wearily I asked in return "who are you?" The older man replied with "your worst nightmare." I hoped that he was joking. In the blink of an eye the young girl raised her hand and smacked the man in the head. I couldn't help but chuckle when he yelped in pain. As they introduced themselves I began to wonder if they were as friendly as they sounded. The young girl told me that her name was Lucie and that the man was called Bucky. We started to talk for a while until we heard footsteps coming from down the hall. Lucie and Bucky had to go because no one was allowed out of their cell unless they were with one of the guards. Good thing was that they were across from me and the footsteps were coming from around the corner so all they had to do was walk to the other side and they would be in their cell. I felt as though I had already made friends. With that thought I ended up eventually falling asleep.
