Chapter 1

Chris

“Chris, you know that you are special to me, but I can’t be in a relationship. I have to keep a secret. I'm leaving the group, it’s all just too much for me. I hope we can still be friends, but I think it would be best if we didn’t talk for a while.” From: My Love (Woojin)
I drop to the ground clutching my phone like it's my lifeline. Tears start falling and I curl into a ball on the sofa. I cry until I fall asleep. I wake up to the door of my recording studio being flung open. I look up to see Changbin and Hyunjin standing in the doorway. I look at them and they both walk over and sit on either side of me. I lean My head on Hyunjins shoulder while he runs his fingers through my hair. Binnie scoots over, so he is closer to me. He wrappes his arms around me, encasing me in a hug. We stay like this until all of our phones go off.

"You all are needed in my office in five minutes."
We head to JYPs office meeting up with the rest of the members on the walk. When we arrive I take a seat and Hyunjin and Changbin stand behind me. Felix and Han sitting in the other chairs. I.N, Seungmin, Lee Know stand behind them.
“As you have all probably heard, Woojin has decided to leave the group and it is up to y’all to decide if you all want to add a new member or just stay as eight.”
We all agreed to stay as a group of eight instead of bringing in a new member. JYP dismisses us and we all get up to leave. Binnie, Hyunjin, and I head back to my studio, and everyone else headed their separate ways.  I open the door to the studio and we all walk over to the couch.
I hand my phone to Changbin so they can read the message, and I curl into a ball making myself as small as possible. They sit beside me and put my phone on the table.
“I should have known something was going to happen. It always does. Just when things are going good something bad has to happen.” I mumble. “I know it seems bad right know. It feels like the world is ending and your heart is breaking into a million pieces that can never be put back together, but you will get through this you alway do.”
“You are going to get through this Chris, Just remember that you're tough and that you’re never alone. You have me, Hyunjin, and the rest of the guys. We will always be there for you if it ever gets to be too much for you.“ Binnie says and Hyunjin nods his head in agreement. “Now let's go.”
“Where are we going?”
“Where going out. We're going to make you forget all about Woojin.”
They stand up and grab my hands pulling me up from the couch. We all load up in a car and we turn the radio all the way up and roll the windows all the way down. We sing at the top of your lungs while the wind wipes our hair around. When the finally comes to a stop I look up to see that we are at a carnival. “I love the carnival. You guys are the best” I shout from outside the car.
The others get out of the car and we all head to the ticket window.
Once we purchase our tickets I run to the first ride and we all get on it. We ride all the rides in the park before we decide to stop for some food. We all get hotdogs and cheese sticks. We walk around and eat our food as the sun sets behind us. As we are walking around I see a giant stuffed wolf. “OMG, I need it!” I say and point to the giant wolf. Changbin looks at me and then at the wolf. I puff out my bottom lip and make a pouty face. “Fine you win.” He pays the worker and the employee hands him three baseballs. He throws the first one and hits the milk cans knocking over half of them. He throws the second one and knocks over the rest of them. He points to the wolf and the game operator hands it to him. We head to the next booth and find a giant ferret plushie. We pay and are given two footballs, and Binnie and I each throw one.We booth make get them into the net. “Can we get the ferret please?” I ask the worker,and he gets it down and gives it to me. I turn around and hand it to Hyunjin who grabs it with a blush. We stroll around the park before we find a bench and sit down. I sit next to Hyunjin and lean over to him so I can whisper something to him. “Scene Binnie won these for us we should get him something too” I mumble into Jinnies ear. He looks at me with a big smile on his face and nods his head.
“Chan and I are going to the restroom. Will you stay here and watch the animals please?” Hyunjin asks Changbin in a sweet voice. “Of course,” He replies.
We get up and walk in the direction of the restrooms, and turn once we get out of his view. I lead Jinnie to the booth I saw earlier. When we get to the booth I hand the employee ten dollars and he hands us each a ball.
“All you have to do is throw the ball at the board and make it bounce into the black bucket with it bouncing or rolling back out.” he informs us. I throw mine and it bounces off the board and into the bucket and almost rolls back out but stops just before it falls out. Hyunjin goes after me and makes it in the bucket and bounces up around until it stops right at the edge of the bucket. Luckily it didn’t again or it would have fallen out for sure. “Can we get the pig plush please?” Hyunjin asks, and the worker gives it to him. We thank the man and run off in the direction of where we left Changbin. When we see him he is on his phone so we slow down and sneak up on him. When we get right behind him, I reach out and grab his phone while Jinnie puts his hand in his hair. He jumps and turns around. We hold the stuffed pig up in front of us and Smile at him. “Thank you.” he says as he wrappes us both up in a hug.
We head to the parking lot with all of our stuffed animals and only the lights of the park to guide us. We get into the car and head home. By the time we get to the dorms it's already well past midnight and everyone else is asleep. We walk quietly so we don’t wake any of the others up from the slumber. We go into our separate rooms after saying a quick goodnight.
I put my new wolf plush, which I decided to name Channie, at the head of my bed and go to my closet to pick out a pair of sweats. I grab a pair of black sweat pants and no shirt. I go into my bathroom and change into the clothes. I brush my teeth and hair, I decided to let it grow out and not straighten it anymore. After I put everything I walk over to my bed and climb into it.
