I'm not even going to lie, im super excited to meet up with Mattia again. He was the first person to truly care for me and be there for me, I would've done anything to keep him safe.But as time passes people grow a part and there nothing we can do about that. However im so glad we're able to put our differences aside.
I decided to go shower and do all that business.

I put my clothes on and grab my phone
          3:30pm
Hm seems like i still have a lot of time. I get up and decide to go make myself some eggs. Midway thru making them I hear a loud buzz come from my phone.

Shit. I forgot to tell him about the whole "My ex bff who i was madly inlove with texted me that he missed me and now we're reuniting after like two years" thing.
I read the time,curious of how long it's been.

It's still pretty early so i guess i should finish.
I finished making my breakfast and I made my way outside and into my car.I decided to text Mattia.
"What's your address?"
I sent it and started to rev up my car. Once I was done,I checked my phone to see if he answered.
"2nd street,1234" ok cool
I was about to turn off my phone,when i saw it buzz again. "Im excited to see you again Kairi❤️"
Woahhh.I definitely thought that MAYBE in some universe he reached out because he missed us but I always reminded myself that it was just a thought. Maybe it wasn't? Nah, it's Mattia. He would never want to be anything with me. He didn't then he won't now. I spent a good second analyzing my message.
"Same here Mattia❤️"

I'm super nervous for Kairi to come over tbh. I haven't seen him in two years and when the person you once loved most is on their way over, you kind of freak out.I'm wearing some jeans with a black t-shirt. Kind of basic but not enough that i'm underdressed, yk?
I'm cut out of my thoughts by the doorbell ringing
"He's here" I think to myself. Getting up in a hurry but not TOO fast so he doesn't seem sketchy. I open the door to see the most adorable man i've ever seen. There at the door is my Kairi, His hair dyed blonde at the top. He's wearing some light denim jeans and a black hoodie, I can't help but admire him.
"Hey" He says
My mind filling with love and all those sappy feelings you get when you have a crush. I'm nervous.
"Hi,please come inside" I say opening the door as an invitation.
"Nice place you've got here" He says
I managed to mutter out a simple "Thank you" before guiding him to my room.

Kairis POV
He takes me to his room and i scan over the room.
Soccer posters plastered on every wall,soccer sheets,and a bean bag chair.
It's still the same place I remember, although the bed moved to the end of the room and his setup got slightly better. That bean bag chair didn't move. The same bean bag chair we shared out first kiss with. The same chair just laying there untouched.
I quickly look away and say
"You have a really nice room, Hasn't changed much since i've been here" He chuckles and sits on his bed
"There hasn't been much to change,just the same old" I joined him next to him on his bed, sitting only a couple inches a part.I look up at him and tell him
"The bean bag chair is still where it last was"
I see him kind of go quiet and his grin fading
He so obviously looks embarrassed but nervous at the same time. How stupid of me to think he ACTUALLY missed me.I looked away and just started at my fingers. The painful silence overtaking the room.
"I didn't have the heart to move it" i heard him say
I shot my head over to look at him,confused on what he meant.He moved a closer to me, eyes locked with mine. "What do you mean?" I say
"I didn't want to loose the memory" he says
We're inches apart from each other, just starting and admiring one another. When suddenly he looks away, and kind of pauses for a moment. I see him get up from the bed and say
"You wanna go to Mcdonald's?"
WTF?
