chapter one

No one's pov-

Naruko sighed her head tilted up slightly from the tree she sat up against. Her blue orbs starred at red ones. Kurama stood in his human form, he looked around seven years old.

"Kurama" she mumbled, her hand going up to cover her mouth as she yawned. Kurama had to look away so he wouldn't yawn too.

"What are you doing here" kurama asked, his head still facing a different direction. His hands in his anbu styled pants his long red hair reached his waist, he also had a black tank top on.

Naruko just stretched. "Training, I mastered tree walking" naruko said smiling up at him.

Kurama glanced at the girl before looking around the clearing they where in. He noticed the amount of cracks in the trees, before looking back at the smiling girl.

"Good job" kurama said nodding at the girl.
"You should show me tomorrow" he said before siting next to the smiling girl.

"Kay kay" she said happily, she wanted to show him now but she knew she was to tired to concentrate her Chakra so she just sat there her lead leaning an Kurama's shoulder. After about three minutes kurama sensed someone coming.

"Someone's here" he mumbled his head leaning on Naruko's head. Naruko rearranged her head so her head was the one on his head and his head was on her shoulder.

"Whose there" naruko asked her eyes opening and looking around to see if she could spot someone.

Kurama just laid on her shoulder pretending to sleep.

Itachi who was just walking through the forest was surprised that a five year old noticed him. Hiding his emotions he came out his hands raised in surrender.

Naruko just looked at him up and down before closing her eyes again, a small frown on her face.

Itachi was kinda surprised at the dullness in her eyes but just starred at her for a while before starting to leave thinking the girl didn't want him here.

"Your itachi right" naruko asked shocking the poor genius who slowly looked back at her.

"Hai that's me" he mumbled his whole body turned to the five year old and the seven year old boy who he never seen in the villiage. Speaking of witch he never seen either of them in the villiage.

"How do you know my name and are you from konoha" itachi asked, mostly everyone knew the geniuses name but it still surprised him that the small girl knew his name.

"I heard about you, and yes we are somewhat from konoha I just do not live where others can see me or him" she said her head slowly rose and her dull blue eyes starred at him.

"I see, may I know you name since you know mine" Itachi asked. He watched a red eye opened from the seven year old before it closed.

"My names Naruko" she said, itachi was confused why she didn't give her last name or if she even had one before ignoring it and smiling softly.

"What a beautiful name, what is your friends name" itachi asked glancing at the seven year old whose eyes slowly opened, his red eyes gazed over his body as to see if he was a threat before closing his eyes again and getting more comfortable on the five year old shoulder.

"My names kurama" his voice was soft but rough and itachi could tell he was biting back anger.

"That's a nice name too, I must get going tho" itachi said turning around before he stopped hearing Naruko's voice.

"Will you be our friend" she asked her head tilted to the side a bit, this caused itachi to look back slightly surprised but he nodded a yes before saying he'll come back when he's free then he left the too kids behind.
