The Actress
I want to tell a story
About a girl who hides
From the darkness
Through the light
Her eyes never leave the moving pictures
As if the colors entertain her senses
It was a tragic story
Though the actress lived happily
The girl started forming crystals
From her eyes as she plead freedom
She held her cheek
It was not viscous
It was water, a tear
But it felt sticky
It run through her skin slowly
She moved her vision past the screen
To the empty darkness or as so she thought
The human-shaped shadow froze her in place
The demure clothes she put on
Ripped pieces on the hard couch
Her hair turned messy
Her skin felt heavy
It was tears, a water
But it engulfed her wet
And sticky
Yet she held still
It's the only thing she knows
Sympathizing the actress who's happy
As she stood up and leave
And check her clothes at a glance
It was as prim as before
Yet she felt ruined to the very core
