The First Meet 💖

You, Y/N are on your way to go grab some coffee. You've been really stressed out with work while having the constant fear of a villian coming to attack you when you least expect it. Suddenly, you bump into a tall man...

?: "Ah! I'm sorry, I should watch where I'm going next time."

You look up and your eyes meet. It's Shoto Todoroki, your favorite pro hero!

You stare at him and start blushing."N-No I was the one who was in a hurry and wasn't watching where I was going. Um...you're Todoroki right?"

He sighs looking a bit aggravated but doesnt seem to mind. He always runs into fangirls and he wasn't really looking forward to bumping into one today.

"Yes, I am. May I ask where you are going in such a hurry? Do you need help going to your destination safely?"

"No thank you! I was just going to grab some coffee. I've had a really tough week and I thought maybe I could relax a bit."

Todoroki places his hand behind his neck. "Well...I've been really stressed out too. I usually like taking walks to clear my mind. However, I'm not really going anywhere at the moment and since we're both trying to find a way to relax, would you like to go to the coffee shop with me?"

You stare in shock while simultaneously blushing. You can't believe that your idol just asked you out! Without any further hesitation you accept his offer and the both of you start walking the rest of the way to the coffee shop.

He sighs. "It isn't very often that I ask a fan to go somewhere with me. Today is one of those days where I don't really feel bothered."

You give him a slight smile."I understand, being a pro sounds very stressful and I could see why it would be bothering at times. I'm thankful that you were willing to make an exception for me."

He nods "Of course..."

You both arrive at the shop and Todoroki holds the door open for you.

"Thank you!" You exclaimed.

He nods and you both find a table.

"What kind of coffee would you like?" Todoroki gives you a gentle smile.

"A latte is fine for me, but I can order it myself!"

"No need, I'll get it for you. Just sit here."

He walks toward the counter and places the order. You sit there still not believing that you're in a coffee shop with Todoroki! Soon later, he comes back with the coffee and sits across from you.

You take the coffee and cup your hands around it feeling its warmth. "Thank you!"

"Of course..."

You notice that he ordered the same latte drink you asked for.

"So, you like them too right?"

"I actually never tried one before."

You laugh a bit. "You got one because I did?"

He smiles a bit. "Yes...I thought that since you enjoy it, that I would too."

You start blushing again, but then realize that he's trying to be friendly.

"Right."

He takes a sip.

"Hm...this is actually really good."

You smile at him.

He looks at you for a moment. "You know, you have a really nice smile..."

"Hah..."

Your heart starts pounding. Your idol just said that you have a nice smile!

"T-Thank you Todoroki."

"...I'd rather you just call me Shoto."

"Of course...Shoto!"

"In speaking of that, I never caught your name."

"Oh! My name's Y/N"

"Y/N...I like that name."

Your heart feels like its going to fall out of your chest. "This can't be real, I must be dreaming!"

You realize that you said that out loud and you start feeling embarassed.

Shoto laughs.

"Nope, it's very real."

"I'm sorry! I meant to say that in my head! It's just that, you're my favorite pro hero and with you saying all of these nice things about me...it just makes me feel some kind of way."

Shoto smiles."Well I'm glad that I could make you happy and it looks like you're feeling much better now. I'm curious though, why are you feeling so stressed out Y/N?"

You sigh and take a sip of your coffee before explaining. "Well, I work as a news reporter and it's very tiring. I always have to report on various villian sightings and I'm always putting myself in danger when I'm on camera. I always fear that I'll get interrupted by a villian and a hero won't be there in time to save me. I've been thinking about quitting, buy I earn enough money to support myself so it's worth it."

Todoroki gives you an assuring and comfortating smile. "You don't need to worry. Heroes are always alert when a villan attacks. With me being the number 2 hero, I'm always around to help. However, there haven't been as many attacks so I've been focusing more on myself and walking around to see if there's anyone in need of assistance."

You take a sigh of relief. That's exactly what I needed to hear, thank you Shoto. Your partner must be very worried whenever you go out..."

Shoto laughs. "Partner? No, no. I'm not seeing anyone."

"You're not? No way!"

He clears his throat. "I know it's hard to believe but I haven't had any time to settle down on a relationship yet...Someone as...beautiful as you must be seeing someone right?"

You start blushing like crazy. "N-No, I'm not either. I live alone..."

He nods "I see...well- I have to get going. I need to stay alert for any attacks. But it was nice meeting you Y/N. I hope we're able to run into eachother again."

You smile. "It was nice meeting you too! Have a good rest of your day and thank you for the coffee!"

"No problem."

He gets up and walks out of the coffee shop and you sit there still not believing what just happened. Soon later, you finish your coffee and head back home.
