A/N: this is an introduction to your powers and what will happen in page 2. ;) this is based off my role play experience.
Miguel was looking at the numerous screens in his "office," if you could call it that. He was immersed in his work, until he smelled a new scent. Something he had never felt before.
Someone new in the headquarters? Without his knowledge? He turned around and, obviously, there they were. He unsheathed his talons immediately, visibly tense. "Who are you? What are you doing here? Who let you in?!"
From the shadows emerged a figure in a spider suit. "I'm just a spider trying to get home," I said nervously, my hands up in defense. Miguel took a closer look at the "Spider-person"; they felt different from what he was used to. Maybe they was from an alternate universe? Either way, they could end up altering his universe.
"What's your name?" Miguel asked, crossing his arms in his usual "authoritative" manner. "My name is y/n, also known as Sensation Spinner in my universe, Earth-193," they said, their hands still up. "Is your universe still in its timeline?" Miguel asked bluntly. For a moment, he looked at y/n like they were some kind of alien, but he tried his best to hide his disgust.
"If it's in any way altered, I can't let you continue being here. The integrity of this universe is our biggest priority here at the Society." The spider person was trembling now. "I fell through a portal while chasing a robber, and now I'm here," they said anxiously. "Please, can you send me back home?" they said, gulping.
Miguel scoffed and rolled his eyes. "If you are really that eager to get home, I can help you do that," he said while turning around to face his monitors. "I just need you to know two things first. First, do you know anything about the Spider-Multiverse? The people who inhabit it and its history?" Y/n shuffled their feet nervously. "No, I don't know anything," they said, rubbing their arms anxiously.
This was a problem. To have a reliable partner in the Spider-Society, Miguel wanted every member to be well-versed with the history of the multiverse, its people, and their lives. But how can someone do that when they're just starting their journey? Maybe if he helped them learn, then they could become an asset to his organization, but this person was still a stranger. Will they be of any help?
Miguel sighed and, after a few seconds of contemplating, he turned back to face y/n. "Okay," he said quietly before walking towards them. They watched as he approached. "I have all the basic powers of the spider people I've met. The only difference is my fangs and talons. I can inject a strong aphrodisiac," y/n pointed at their fangs and talons. "I also can release pheromones from my skin," y/n said anxiously.
"And what are those pheromones for, exactly?" Miguel asked, raising an eyebrow and looking at y/n, trying to figure out the exact meaning and purpose of their pheromones. They didn't seem harmless but not enough to have him kick them out of his world or to make him consider them a threat to the safety of it… For now.
They bit their lip and shook their head. "I'm too embarrassed to say," they whispered out. Miguel's expression changed from a mix of curiosity and skepticism, now leaning more into curiosity and interest. He took a step back, leaning on his desk and putting his arms on it, with his elbows resting above it. He was now facing y/n, and his spider senses were tingling in curiosity over what they would say next. "Try me," he said, with his arms still on his desk. "No judging."
"They... they... make people aroused and hot," they said, their face red. Miguel raised a brow and nodded with a sly smile. "And what exactly do you do with that effect, y/n" he asked, sounding genuine with his question. "Well... I use it to immobilize my enemies," they said, shuffling their feet. "It renders them completely defenseless... their bodies collapse and yearn for contact," they said, rubbing their head.
Miguel raised an eyebrow but nodded without further question. He had gotten the idea: their pheromones were a useful weapon. One he believed could be useful against their enemies, but one not to be used against innocents. "This... ability of yours might prove to be useful in certain assignments," Miguel said as he turned around to face his monitors again, seemingly satisfied with the conversation that had happened between them. "It could be useful to have someone like you as a member. But you would need to go through some training. Would you like to join?"
"I'd love to," they said ecstatically. "Great. As I already mentioned, you're welcome to stay with us as long as you like. But your training starts tomorrow. We can't have you go around with the possibility of causing harm. You may think that this power of yours is harmless, but I've seen the effect of similar abilities over the years," Miguel said, as on his screen he had already started opening the file of their background. A few taps on his keyboard later, and her name and identity would pop up on the Spider-Net. "Your power may be useful to us," he said softly.
