"oh my gosh! hi ive heard so much about you im so glad to finally meet you" mary lou said before moving around matt to hug iris

iris immediately let out a breathe she didnt realise she had been holding

"hi its so nice to meet you how are you" iris replied whilst smiling at matt who she could now see due to him standing behind mary lou

"im great!" mary lou released her from the hug as iris slowly made her way round greeting everyone

she greeted justin and made her way towards jimmy with the first thing him saying was "you sound like the people from love island" and then mary lou following with a "hey dont be rude" which immediately made iris and the rest of the family laugh

"no its okay i love love island" iris laughed as her and jimmy hugged in greeting

it was now a few hours later, the triplets had given iris a tour of the house and everyone had been hanging out in the living room, the triplets mainly talking to their family and them getting to know more about iris. mary lou and iris had immediately got on making jokes usually at the triplets expense which they all laughed at

that being said though she had learnt a lot about everyone in the last few hours, she could see that matt was super close with their older brother justin as he joked around with him a lot

they still had three hours until they had to head over to the venue to start with soundcheck and sorting things out etc

"mom do you still have that british candy box you got a few days ago" nick asked as everyone sat in the living room chatting

"yeah i havent opened it yet why" mary lou replied

"can we all do a youtube video of us trying the snacks out" nick continued

they all agreed and started to get ready to film the video and head into the kitchen, when nick proceeded to call everyone into the kitchen to film matt turned to iris

"do u wanna be in the video" matt said not wanting iris to feel like she has to be in the video

"do u mind if im not i just wanna chill rn and i dont look very appealing" iris chuckled as she cuddled into matt. she was wearing sweatpants and one of matts hoodies he had let her throw on before they left the bus that morning

"you look very pretty ri" matt smiled at her as he leant down to kiss her. she accepted his kiss giving him a few quick meaningful pecks knowing his family could walk in anytime and this definitely isnt the place to be making out

they carried on talking for a few minutes before nick called matt into the kitchen to start the video

they had been filming for 15 minutes when matt felt his phone buzz in his pocket, taking it out to look at the notification he saw it was a text from iris

his smile grew on his face as he read the message that said 'i dont want to interrupt but please can you bring me the left over fruit pastilles 😇😇 im up in ur room btw ur bed is comfy 💁‍♀️' this action was picked up by the viewers and had made all of them swoon over the teenage relationship even more than they already did

he quickly ran upstairs to take the remaining fruit pastilles up to her

"what are u doing" matt said as he walked in the room noticing iris sat on his bed with her macbook on her lap
