I would've read your love letters every single night

And prayed to God you'd be comin' home all right.

Aryan walked out of the balcony and saw Shreya playing with Abram. Both of them were sitting on the floor. They had a large Ludo board in front of them and were having a 1v1 match. He kind of cringed at the sight. It was one of the girl's basic tactics to impress him. Trying to be friends with his family and siblings, especially Abram. Since Suhana quickly got a hold of whose genuine and whose fake.

He sighed and walked in their direction.

"Hi, champ." Aryan said in a small voice and sat down beside Abram.

"Hi, Bhaiya! Look carefully, I'm almost beating Di!" Abram cheered happily with a smile, his dimples on full display.

Shreya smiled at the brother duo.

She had always felt alone, all her life not having a sibling beside her. She was an only child. Her parents didn't try after her, because of her mom's health issues. She would almost always feel envious of children from her school as they described how hard it is to live with 'siblings'. But if given a chance, she would have replaced them in a heartbeat.

The relationship that the Khan siblings shared brought a smile to her face, without any fail. And why wouldn't it? Aryan and Suhana shared a three years age difference, whereas Abram shared a sixteen years age gap with Aryan and a thirteen years age gap with Suhana. Their sibling's trio dynamics were utter chaos.

"Tumne iss rishte ke liye haan kyun kaha?" Aryan's voice made her startle.

"Why did you say 'yes' to this marriage alliance?"

"Tumne kyun kaha?" Shreya asked back.

     "Why did you say 'yes'?"

Her change of tone made him raise his gaze. One minute she was talking in the sweetest tone, giggling, laughing with Abram; and the next moment throwing attitude to him. He was sure, she was just another fake, money and fame chaser girl.

But her doe big brown eyes didn't allow him to make such judgments. Her eyes were so expressive. It was also the first thing he noticed about her, other than her smile. And usually, he wasn't a 'eyes and smiles' kinda guy.
