You walk through the forest alone carrying only your phone, a knife, and a small bag. Most people tell you not to go into these parts of the woods but you did either way so you can get as far away from your hometown as possible. The further into the forest the thicker the trees got. The trees even got so much taller as well. The further you walk the thicker the air seems to be. Soon out of nowhere, you come across a small cabin in the middle of the forest. You walk over to the cabin's front door. Looking around the place seemed empty. You walk up to the cabin's front door and slightly touch the door. Not even a full tap and the door slightly opens up. You end up walking inside the cabin seeing that there is not much just a small table and a couch in the living room. A smaller kitchen with an oven and a fridge, microwave. Pretty much everything you need to cook and store food. Even a tv that you can see from the living room in the kitchen. You keep walking to find a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. One you can tell someone has been living in and the other had a computer in it. Your questioning how does anyone get internet out here but the owner of this home did.
"Hello?" You call out finding no one there. You just sit down on the couch finding a blanket. You ended up laying there and using the blanket and falling asleep. About an hour later you wake up seeing some guy cooking in the kitchen.
"G-good morning," the guys says looking over smiling. You can see a large scar showing his teeth threw his cheek.
"Who are you?" You ask him. He smiled at you.
"The o-owner of this cabin n-now w-would you like s-something to eat I-I  made waffles if y-you w-would like some," he says Studdering. You nod sitting up on the couch. He walks over to you with two plates of waffles. You end up taking a small bite of the food that was given to you. The waffles ended up being one of the best things you've ever had in your entire life. You smile continuing to eat the rest of the waffles on your plate.
"These are amazing who did you learn to cook this well?" You ask the strange man. He just gave off what it seemed to be a soft smile but a sadden one.
"My m-mama u-used to make these f-for be until the a-accident." He says looking down somewhat. You feel bad for asking so you sit there quiet until he looks back over at you. "S-so what i-is your n-name?" He asked you. You look up at him giving him a calm smile.
"My names Y/N what's yours?" You ask him putting the plate down on the table since you've finished your waffles he's made you.
"M-my names T-Tobias R-Rogers. B-but T-Toby for s-short works." He says to you. You look at with larged eyes like your trying not to cry.
"T-Toby as in Sunny?" You ask him. His expression changes instantly once you said the nickname.
"M-moonie?" He askeds you. You nod wanting to cry. He hugs you somewhat tight trying not to cry himself. You hug him back feeling happy knowing you found you childhood best friend that everyone told you went missing the day the towns sheriff found his fathers body laying lifelessly on the chair by their backyard pool. Right know you don't care about anything else you just want to know everything that happened and why your had to leave and run away the way he did. But at this moment it wasn't the best time. So you choose to just sit there in his embrace. Knowing Toby was your only reason you stayed in that price of shit town you now know you'll no longer have to ever go back. You can just stay here with him. You elementary school best friend middle school partner in crime and high school crush. The feeling rising in your face rn was overwhelming. Only two thoughts run threw you head do you kiss him or do you just sit there and do nothing.
