AUGGIE FLORES always wanted to be loved. Auggie desired to be loved in the way she thinks every human deserves to be loved, surrounding oneself with people who value you for everything you can offer, through every perfection and flaw. Whenever summer rolled around and she would get the chance to spend those days at Cousins Beach with not only her parents but as well with the people she sees as her second family. When people meet Auggie, they see a person who would give one-hundred percent of herself in these relationships that require work. For Auggie, it was a type of love she would only see in movies, not even with her parents who she sees every day.
Before meeting the Fisher family, Auggie hated going to Cousins, she hated it because all she would hear through her closed bedroom door was her parents arguing, sometimes one slamming the door and storming out the house in general. Then, one day, while Auggie was silently crying on her doorstep at her family beach house, a boy with bright blue eyes and fluffy blonde hair approached her, asking Auggie why she was crying. Auggie Flores didn't know it, but the day she would meet Jeremiah Fisher would be the day everything changed for her. As far as Auggie knew, Jeremiah was the perfect boy. Jeremiah was handsome, he was super kind, not to mention he has the ability to make her laugh and brighten up her day with just one smile. The summer before she was supposed to turn sixteen, Auggie had convinced herself that this summer would be the one where she would be making memories that would be bound to last, but of course, a bombshell had to be dropped onto the teenager.
The bombshell in question, the boy from Auggie's past who was notorious for either throwing wads of mud in her hair, or the boy who was hellbent on stealing Auggie's precious stuffed monkey from when they were kids. The news of Lawrence "Laurie" Windsor infiltrating in Auggie's life was bound to put a sour note on her summer and Auggie would've preffered just complaining about his existence, but her father made her promise to include the boy with every activity that the brunette could get her hands on.
As Auggie and Laurie grow to spend more and more time together, Auggie couldn't help but think how she actually likes being around Laurie and how he too has the ability to foster butterflies in her system, but the brunette couldn't help but remember how her heart still yearns for Jeremiah's, making her rexamine the kind of love she surrounds herself with and the kind of love she deserves to have.

RORY'S YAPPS! As of 2024, Auggie and friends are back!!! I've thought about her story and the dynamics I've written for these character and thought I should revisit this haha! I've also made some changes from the original (and extremely unedited) draft that I hope y'all like. Also I have to warn y'all, act one is where there's just a lot of mentions of how infactuted Auggie is with Jeremiah (ew) so that and his insanely bright blue eyes should be a warning.
