"I'm nervous." Alex says and I laugh as I wrap my arm around her.
"Everyone will know as of today. Happy anniversary babe, I love you. And our little munchkin, I love you." I mumble against her belly.
"Can we watch the end of the documentary?" Alex asks and I nod.
I skip it to the last ten minutes and I grin as I press play.
"I fell in love. I fell so in love with someone. I had never been in love with someone the way I had fallen in love with her. But I knew I loved her more than anything in this world."
The screen goes blank and suddenly there's two silhouettes. One person on one knee with a box. Which was obviously me, but with no clear faces no one could tell.
"So in love that I asked her to marry me two years into our relationship and well.. she said yes."
I got up as I hugged Alex and spun her around. The silhouettes still there, not exposing Alex just yet. Not revealing who it was just yet.
"It felt like everything fell into place when I met her. It felt right. She's my whole life, my whole world."
The screen went dark and the credits started to roll.
"The angst is killing me and I know it's me." Alex says making me laugh.
At around three pm, comments started to roll in, everyone was confused. The laugh was a bit distorted so no one knew who was actually laughing. It kept the suspense. But it wasn't like robotic distorted. Just enough to where you couldn't tell it was Alex.
At eight pm I went on Twitter.
