"Ohhh, that ribbon belongs to you." Ginjima stares at the ribbon then looks back at you. "Suna saw this ribbon left out on the floor and Osamu seems to know who this ribbon was from."

You made an "O" shaped mouth, signalling that you understood. You gripped onto the ribbon softly before tying it on your ponytail instead of storing it in your bag. You made sure that you tied the ribbon tightly so that it won't be loose again.

"Kon'nichiwa [こんにちは - Hello]~" The door slide open and there stood the cheery girl, Mazu.

Lots of students greeted her back, some of them just nodded as greetings, and a few of them just simply ignored her. (*cough* talking about Osamu here *cough*.)

"Hi, Osamu-san~" The blonde-haired girl greeted the blunt grey fox with her big warm smile.

"I told you not to call me by my first name, didn't I?" Osamu didn't bother to greet back towards her.

You and Ginjima glanced at each other for a while, before glancing back at the two with a smirk face. Yup, it seems like something was up to the two of you sleeves.

"Well uh, I wanted to make friends with you." Mazu sets her stuff down on her desk then faces herself fully towards Osamu.

"No thanks, I think I have enough friends." Osamu replied bluntly.

"Nawww, come on now Osamu, don't be shy~" You cooed in a teasing way.

"She's just trying to be friendly with you~" Ginjima joined.

Mazu has hope in her eyes. She really wanted to make her friendship with Osamu work. Then she can level up to more than friendship. She doubted that it would be a piece of cake. But after you and Ginjima helped out too, she felt satisfied.

"No." Osamu denied again, afterward he looked out the window. Not bothering Mazu, you and Ginjima's business.

That simple "no" answer from someone that she really wanted, simply ruins her plan. But she won't give up that easily. Now she has a new plan, she'll need someone to wrap up on her fingers. Using is another word.

Her eyes darted towards... you. You were her first target.

The bell rings, signalling that it's lunchtime.

A lot of students were coming in and out of the classroom and the teacher was exiting the room. You didn't prepare any bento [弁当 - lunch box] today, so you decided to buy simple snacks from the vending machine.

As you were ready to stand up from your seat, the door slid open. Whispers and squealing can be heard from your classroom. You turned to look at whoever it is that just came into the room.

It's obviously the popular or good-looking boys.

"Heya my friends~" Atsumu came towards you, Ginjima and his twin brother's seat, Suna trailing behind. Osamu and Ginjima nodded their heads as their greeting while you just ignored them since you thought it wasn't your business.

Well, it wasn't your business, but for them, you're one of them.

"Hey (Y/N)~" Atsumu waved his hands at you.

"'Sup." You greet him back shortly.

"Wanna join us for lunch?" He asked.

"Oh uh," You glimpsed towards their hands, no food was held onto. "Are ya gonna buy something to eat from the cafeteria?"

"Nope, we're gonna buy it from the vending machine." Osamu replied instead of Atsumu. "What about you? You don't have food with ya."

You stood up from your seat and shoved your hands in your brown blazer pocket. "Looks like we're on the same page. But imma go wash my hands first, yer guys can go ahead." And off you go to the washroom.

"This girl does care about cleaning, huh?" Suna uttered.

The boys shrugged their shoulders, then they proceeded to buy their food and eat their lunch.

"Hello, (L/N)-san~" The blonde hair girl with shiny emerald eyes greets you as she enters the washroom that you enter.

Yes, she did follow you but not in a sneaking way.

"Oh, hi Maru-san." You greet back with a smile.

"Do you mind if I ask you something?"

"Sure, I don't mind."

"Say, what is Osamu to you?" Her green eyes stared at yours from the mirror.

"Hm?" You look at her, not from the mirror. "I guess he and I were friends. Why?"

Mazu sighed sadly. "Ya see, I've been wanting to be friends with him. Well, to be honest, I like him. Like who wouldn't?"

"I don't." You answered bluntly.

"Huh?"

"I mean, I like him as a friend but not in a romantic way." You added with a chuckle then looked at yourself in the mirror. "Either way, I did call him a weird boy during our first meeting."

She let out an "ohh" in understanding. "If you don't mind me asking, how did the two of you first meet?"

"He said that it was 6 months ago. We met at a random convenience store. And he's a jerk at that time."

Maru's sweatdropped. "Souka [そうか - Is that so]?"

"Soudesu [そうですけど - Yeah], but he changed now. And it wasn't a big deal, I guess." You muttered the last part.

"By the way, how did you become his friend? From what I saw, I think you're the only female friend that he has."

"Eh, really?" She nodded. "Oh well, he's the one who wanted to be my friend. It's clear that I'm an antisocial person, not the type of person that a lot of people like."

"But I don't think you're unlikeable, (L/N)-san~" Maru chimed with her gorgeous wide smile.

"O-oh, y-you think so?" You nervously rubbed your head.

She hangs her arms on your shoulder softly. "100 percent sure! In fact, I love to be your friend as well."

"Well that, I don't mind. You're such a kind person, Maru-san."

"Arigato [ありがと - Thanks], (L/N)-san. Then, we're friends~"

Her plan succeeded.

Maru: Aha, finally I got (Y/N) to fall for my trap. Osamu my love, I'll make sure you will be mine forever when the right time comes.

You: Did you say something, Maru-san?

Maru: A-ah! S-since when you're here?

You: What do you mean? I'm always here for the short ending broadcast. What a coincidence, today you're partnering with me!

Maru: Y-yeah, haha...
