Chapter 15.

You smiled as you thought about the day she told you they were expecting a baby. It was a few months back, but you remember it like it was yesterday. You and Tsireya were so excited.

You glance towards Tsireya, who was also asleep. Her hair was splattered against her pillow and the bed itself. She was laying on her side, her eyes closed, breathing gently just like her mother.

You then glance towards Ao'nung - or where he is supposed to be. You frown a bit when you realize he was nowhere to be seen. Before you leave the hut, you double check again, just in case you missed him but you were right the first time, he still wasn't there.

As everyone started to wake up, you and Tsireya decided to go and swim with the Sully kids.

You turn around and abruptly end the conversation you were having with Tsireya as you hear a familiar voice call your name.

"Tuk!" you wave your hand at the little girl as she runs into the water.

As the water gets to her torso, she jumps up into your arms.

"Hey Tuk." you smile gently at the little girl, "How are you?"

"Good!" she smiles back at you.

"Hey Tsireya." that was Lo'ak. Tsireya smiled and the two immediately started talking.

"Hello there, pretty girl." you chuckle at the nickname and turn to face Neteyam.

"Hello Netty." Tuk answered, as she clutched to your arm.

You and Neteyam both look at each other and then burst out laughing.

"What? He was talking to me." Tuk says as you keep laughing, gently setting the little girl down, so you don't fall over.

"Whatever." She playfully says and attempts to run in the water towards her other brother.

You two look at each other once more and burst out laughing again. You bent over forward, holding your sides as you tried to stop laughing.

Neteyam is trying to stop as well but you guys just can't. It seems like there are more reasons to laugh each time the two of you make the slightest bit of eye contact.

Your laughter becomes even louder as Neteyam trips and falls into the water.

He resurfaces and spits out the water that got into his mouth, smiling up at you.

You take a deep breath and look back to shore. You see Ao'nung walking with his friends, they seem to be having fun.

"Ao!" you yell, waving your hand and smiling at him.

He looks around at the call of his name but when his eyes land on you in the water, he just looks away.

What?

"What was that about?" Neteyam, who was now standing, asks you.

"I don't know." you whisper, more to yourself.

"Bro, let's go!" Lo'ak calls.

"Yeah, yeah." Neteyam replies and calls for his Ilu.

You still stand there looking at the shore, where Ao'nung and his friends are laughing.

Why the hell did he look away?

He didn't come back after that talk with your dad, maybe something is wrong?

You hum and turn around at the call of your name, "Yeah?"

"Let's go, they already left." Neteyam motions to the group.

"Yeah, coming." you call for your Ilu and get on.

Neteyam dives underwater and you follow him, but with one last glance behind you. As you do that, your eyes meet Ao'nung's again, and he just like previously, looks away.

Omfg, this chapter was so long overdue. If anyone is still reading I am so sorry for not posting. July is a very busy month for me.. Yesterday was actually my bday, so yay happy birthday to me!!

Anywho, I just wanted to let yall know that I'm alive and hopefully am gonna post the next chapters soon!!

Why do you guys think Ao'nung ignored you??

Edit: I don't know if anyone is still reading this book lmaoo, but I wanted to make a little change; this book is still bout y/n but from now on I will not be using that word in my writing - just because my preferences changed!

Plus, I am not sure if I will keep writing this story just because I lost the plot of this story due to not writing it in so long. But we will see!
