Yawning, I start to wake up.

As I feel the sweet lullaby of sleep fade away from my grasp, I can't help but stretch out my whole body like a cat.
Peering over to my clock as my body is still shielded by the covers, I see its almost the afternoon.

Groaning into my pillow I slide off my bed and begin my morning routine, doing my business in the bathroom I take a shower and wash my body and hair. Scrubbing away at my skin I wonder what I can do today to get out of unpacking work.

Once im out I pull my wet hair into a messy bun, grabbing my box of clothes that I had yet to unpack I begin to throw clothing around the room. Deciding on a simple white t shirt and some blue jean shorts I fall to my bed with a huff.

What could I do that doesn't allow me leaving the household area to see people, but at the same time gets me away to think for a bit. Racking my brain I realize I had been thinking about this for over thirty minutes.
Getting up I grab a baseball and start to play catch with myself against the wall. Throwing the ball a bit harder, I realize its towards my face and duck for safety. Not hearing anything being hit I pop up from beside my bed and look at my open window and freak out. Rushing towards the window ledge I see my base ball at the ending of our yard and besides the forest.

Rushing downstairs I go to retrieve my baseball and almost trip on my front porch steps as I hurry. That baseball was everything to me, my dad caught it for me when we went to see the yankees. It was signed by the whole team! Looking around I thought I had seen it near this tree, well trees, right?

I begin to wonder deeper into the woods. Looking around me I am soon captivated by the scenery, luscious tree and bushes with the smell of the earth. As the senses take over my mind I soon wish I had brought my phone to take photos of the beauty that surrounds me. Starting to walk backwards I become lost and infatuated in my quest to see the the tops of the trees. I soon forget to turn around and almost loose my footing. After a mini heart attack I look to see that there is a hill slide down to a rushing river. Taking weary steps backwards I feel something furry rush past my foot and lose it. Quickly spinning around I lose my balance once more and tumble down the steep hill. Rolling at an alarming speed while hitting rocks and trees along the way I try to reach out for something but am met with soft dirt that keeps me rolling. Hitting the edge and falling into the icy river Im met with darkness.

Fear sets in and it soon controls my body. Arms flailing, I try to keep my head above water and my breaths not so short. But I soon realize the pull of the river is too strong. Im caught onto something as my back hits a large rock in the river, knocking the breath from my lungs. Once more going under I seem to have lost the fight in me and pray I see my father on the other side, I can feel my breath dissipating as my lungs fill with water, and then the cold darkness surround me once more.
