amala felt sad for him, the death of x took a toll on the whole music industry, even she had felt some type of way about it. she hadn't known x very well but they had talked before, even had plans of doing music together. she was one of the last people he ever spoke to, they had talked a week before his death
"he made a huge impact on everyone's lives, even mine. i remember being on facetime with him, we were gonna meet up a couple days after the 18th to work on some songs together. the last thing he had told me before we hung up was that i was a star and i was gonna change the industry in one way or another, shit made me tear up just hearing that. so i get why his words meant so much to you, especially knowing everything y'all went through together and i'm not x but i'm so proud of stokeley. as both a artist and a person" she softly told him as she watched a tear roll down his cheek
she had never seem him emotional before and it broke her heart to see him so sad, all she wanted to do was hug him so that's what she did
she pulled herself up and out of the water, onto his lap before wrapping her arms around him and letting him cry into her shoulder while she rubbed his back
"it's okay stokes, you're safe here with me" she reassured him as she held him. she could tell he never fully grieved, especially since everything about jahseh's death was public. how could someone grieve when every time they go online, their reminded about the fact that their best friend is dead?
the two sat like that for a while until eventually stokeley had no more tears to shed, he just laid on amala's shoulder and sighed
"i know i prolly seem like a lil bitch right now" he mumbled into her shoulder and she shook her head "no, you just seem like a person who never got to fully heal. i'd never judge you for crying, shit all i do is cry" she joked trying to lighten the mode
ski let out a small laugh at her comment "thank you for this, i really needed it" he thanked her and she smiled before kissing his forehead
"i'm your girlfriend, it's what i'm here for. no need to thank me" she replied as he picked his head up
"you still wanna swim?" he asked and she nodded smiling, he rolled his eyes playfully before gently lowering her back into the water and joining her right after
she splashed him and they both laughed as she went to do it again and he caught her arms before leaning in and kissing her as he let her arms go
she kissed back and wrapped her arms around his neck, as she wrapped her legs around his waist
"look at us, about to fuck in the pool like 2 badass lil kids" she stated and stokeley let out a chuckle "feels like the revenge tour all over again" he teased and amala splashed him "whore" she joked before leaning in and kissing him again
