"A-alright then." He takes his walkie talkie off his vest and gives out a code to the other officers presumably telling them it was time to go all the while wearily side-eyeing you.
Confused officers start walking out of the house, mumbling to each other as they do.
"Please reconsider our offer to come down to the station and give us any information you can." He speaks.
"I won't." You respond and he scoffs in response walking into his police car and diving off down the road with the rest.
"Don't like police ey?" Jed asks softly giggling to himself.
"They're cunts. Cops don't really like me, so I don't like cops." You respond opening the door walking into your house.
"ACAB." Jed says sitting down onto the couch in the living room.
"All Cops Are Bussys." You respond ripping down the tape left on the window.
"Whats a bussy?" Jed asks confused.
"Never mind..." You mutter.
"Tell me what happened last night?" He asks whipping out his notebook and pen.
"Sure, I got here after an argument with my parents. I felt exhausted and ended up falling asleep on the couch. I woke up to the window breaking and tried my best to crawl away. He started to attack me and I got a good few hits in before..." Something like a half-sob half-choke broke from your throat. The familiar hard lump of pain formed making it hard to speak. You tried your best to continue your way through the sentence.
Jed's scribbling on his notebook had ceased as he stood up pulling you into a firm hug.
"Its okay." He cooed softly trying his best to comfort you.
"Let's take a little break, okay? I know a guy who can fix your window up. Here let me call him." He pulled away from the hug scooping out his phone from the pocket in his pants, dialling up a number and hitting the call button.
His conversation with the man on the other end of the line was tunned out by your mind, to focused on the phantom feeling of Ghostface's hard on pressed up against you.
What a sick fuck, you think to yourself. Getting off on my fear. Guilt wells up inside you as static excitement flows through your body at the memory of being helplessly pinned down the killer. No mater how hard you tried to deny it, him hunting you like that he'd unlocked a new part of your brain. That or it was some twisted trauma response.
"He'll be here soon." Jed's voice snapped you out of your mental spiral.
"Good." You mutter in response.
"Let's unpack some of your things to try and take your mind off stuff, okay? I'll help you out." He rubbed the middle of your back gently.
Giving him a weak smile, you grab your suit case and start to make your way up the grand steps towards your new room. Opening the door you get hit in the face with hot air, having the door shut for so long had obviously trapped in all the heat inside the room. Leaving it to waft into your face.
After laying down the suitcase you open up your new wardrobe, trying to plan out where you want what.
"Want me to start laying out your clothes?" Jed offers already bending over to open your suitcase the moment you say yes.
"Sure." You mutter half-hazardly, still distracted.
He starts pulling out clothes, folding them up and laying them into their own piles.
Tops in Tops, Bottoms in Bottoms.
Each pile stacking up neatly in little rows. Like soldiers.
"Oh? What's this?" Jed asks quizzically, you turn around to look at him. Seeing Jed, on his knees with a shit eating grin on his face. You frown softly shifting your attention to what he was holding. You see him holding your familiar purple vibrator and a pair of lacy underwear. Your cheeks instantly turn red as you yell at him.
"Put those down!" You gasp out, lunging at him in the process. Tripping over slightly in your haste. He shoots up from his kneeling position with super human speed, dodging your attack skilfully. Your precious items still in his grasp.
"Didn't know you wear into this kinda stuff... You'd still look hot as hell in these though." He smiles at your flirtatiously.
"Gimme- "You yell jumping up to reach your toy and underwear that were still firmly in his grasp.
The doorbell rings temporally breaking up your squabble with Jed.
"Better get that, huh?" He whispers to you lowly.
Same dark look in his eyes from earlier. Like he wanted to eat you up on the spot. Something about when he looks at you that way made you unsettled, though you couldn't quite place what. It was almost like someone else was wearing his skin. Some stranger had scooped out all his insides and crawled inside him, using his hollow corpse as a fleshy decoy. Now in full control of your friend.
Jed looking at you like this... The familiar shake of excitement rushed though you, leaving your fingertips tingling.
"(Y/N)?" He whispered, his voice box rumbling out your name softly. A shiver ran up your spine when he spoke your name like that.
"It feels like someone just stuck a car battery up my ass and put it at full voltage. And now I can feel the electricity coursing through me from it." You respond quite out of it from the heat of the moment. He laughs loudly at that.
"Okay then- "He gets cut off from the doorbell being rung again, more aggressively this time.
"Go answer the door, I'll put these back." He waves around the underwear. He lets out a soft chuckle again as he does so.
You push away from him face blazing and storm down the stairs hurriedly answering the door.
"Hi! Sorry about the long wait. I'm sure you've already seen the window you think you can fix it for me?" You scramble through your sentence, your brain still fried from your encounter with Jed.
"Ehh... I 'ave I can get it fixed up before tonight." The man responded clearly picking up on your weird mood.
"Great! That's perfect. Can I have a quote?" You ask.
"Where's the man who called me? No offence but I'd much rather talk to 'im about it. Even though ya seem strong enough... just don't really trust yer kind to do the job right 'nd know what yer talking 'bout." He states casually. Rage builds up inside you. How the fuck weren't you supposed to take offense to that?
Despite yourself, you wanted your fucking window fixed.
"Sure!" You say in a sickly-sweet tone, through a clamped smile.
"Jed!" You yell marching up the steps.
You walk into where you last left him to see him making your bed for you.
"Whazzz uuupppp!" He says, playfully sticking his tongue out and shaking his head.
"Dickhead downstairs only wants to talk to you since I'm obviously not capable." You grumble trying not to let Jed's cheeky attitude make you smile.
"Oh... alright then." He rolls his eyes now understanding what you meant.
Hearing the muffled voices of Jed and the repair man downstairs, you collapse into your bed ready for this day to finally be over.
