As a young teen, I spent a lot of time pining over my high school crushes, and I wasted even more time trying to rationalize my infatuations so I could dissuade myself from ever trying to pursue them. Instead of allowing myself to love and pursue the target of my affections, I chose to sit and analyze why I felt the way I did.
I think I love this person. How can that be? What is "love"?
Now that I'm older, more experienced and just as foolish, I've decided to write a collection of short stories that provide glimpses of what I think "love" looks like. We all know the feeling when we get it, but what does it look like when it's acted upon? How does love play a role in the things we do within the esoteric contexts of our lives?
