Wait... no you couldn't. If they truly believed they were still in their world then they would be leaving soon... You bit your lip, sucking in your breath nervously.

[Conqueeftador:] thanks JJ, it's just an idea I have, don't know if I'm going to go through with it. You know those type of fanfics never get finished anyways. Thanks a bunch though!

You clicked off discord and turned the phone off, feeling like it was a complete waste of time. You decided to just go ahead and try the relentlessly blunt approach, no matter how rude or insane they may think you to be. No pussy footing around the topic, no half truths or lying. You also decided to keep your Discord well under lock and key. The less they know about THAT, the better.
You take a moment to stretch, Your shoulders popping deliciously. You gave a slight grimace as you caught sight of yourself in the mirror. You should probably get dressed. You completely forgot you hadn't changed clothes from yesterday. You stood up with a grunt, making your way over to the dresser. You didn't want to spend too much time on your outfit so you threw on a simple t-shirt. It was black with white short sleeves and a white star on the chest, one of your favorite casual shirts. You also threw on some comfy dark pants, a certain pair you thought always made your legs look great.
How would they react? Would your blunt nature throw them off? Would they even believe you? Not only were they from a different universe but they were from the 70s, did they even know what video games were? You frowned. Of course they did, video games were invented in the '60s. Probably the 50s but you were a bit iffy on that. Even though some of them might be familiar with the concept, you still couldn't just come out and claim they were from a video game. They might think you're insane. You can't just come right out of the gate with "Hey guys, I think you might be from an alternate universe, here's a video game with you guys in it, ALSO I know a good portion of half of y'all's names and backstories."
If that's not the fastest way for someone to think you're a crazy stalker, you didn't know what was. You definitely didn't want to be around after dropping the "I know you dudes from a video game" line. You didn't even have proof to back it up.
Your brow scrunched in concern. You decided to go ahead and throw on some shoes too, deciding to simply leave afterwards and go buy groceries after the whole... Obligatory explanation. Give them time to digest the information. Or prepare to kill you and leave.
Wait....
You grabbed your phone and with a quick search found that yes, the normal team Fortress two game was still bugged and broken to hell, but to your surprise the character models were back. Apparently Valve did come out with an announcement apologizing for their blunder, and had started work on fixing the coding for the game. You briefly wondered if they had deleted the coconut.JPEG on accident.
You could play it right in front of them as proof, although in its broken state it probably wouldn't work well. You searched the web again, finding a few videos of people playing the bugged broken version of tf2. It looked awful, parts of the map were gone, textures were missing and replaced with that purplish pink and black grid, it was nothing but a mess. You grimaced. It was in a better state than OverWatch at least, the poor guys.
You went ahead and made a YouTube playlist of some videos on your phone, some being gameplay footage you and your friends recorded. You could show the boys the videos as you explain. Hopefully it would be proof enough for them, but you could still play the buggy game for them If it wasn't enough. Hell, let them play it. They'd suck but at least they'd be able to play it.
