The light smell of smoke circulated through the woods; a certain group of people decided to camp in a forest tonight, their voices and laughter were the only sounds heard at that moment. The members were around a fire to warm themselves up, the tents just a few metres away.

Now, what mischief were they doing, you might ask? They were playing truth or dare. "Hey, Akaashi" Bokuto looked over to the said male. "Truth or dare?" He continued, a glint of a sly grin painting and gracing his lips, his eyes slightly closing with his smile.

The black-haired male raised an eyebrow and hesitantly answered. "..dare?" He trailed off, scratching the back of his neck as he did so. The other players watched and listened, looking forward as to what the captain might dare him.

The moonlight shone upon them, the sky was starry, an endless field of bright circles of light glistening across the horizon. Silence was apparent for a few seconds, only the light rustling of bushes and leaves were heard from the wind.

"I dare you to scare Ichiro!"

"That's low of you..you know I'm literally here, right?" Ichiro deadpanned, his lips thinning into an unamused line. He sighed heavily and shook his head, looking over to Akaashi. "Well?" He raised his eyebrow, his long dark green hair hugging his face until his neck.

"I don't know what he's scared of." Akaashi plainly replied, his eyes slightly narrowing as if thinking on how to do the dare. He grumbled and sighed softly, "Ichiro, what are you scared of?" he looked back at the male, the other players were watching.

"Why are you two asking Ichiro what he's afraid of? The point of the dare is to surprise him.." Kuroo squinted his eyes at Bokuto and Akaashi, who seemed...lost in what they were doing. The others nodded in agreement and laughed among themselves.

"Oh." The both of them looked at the male and to Kuroo. "Well.." Akaashi started and looked back behind Ichiro, as if he's trying to catch his attention, trying to pretend he saw something. He tilted and leaned his head forward a bit.

Ichiro raised his eyebrow, moving a bit cautiously, turning his body, still facing Akaashi. "What?" He asked, looking in the direction where the raven-haired male was staring at. Akaashi let out a hum and started speaking.

"I thought I saw a huge spider behind you for a moment."

The sage green-haired male grimaced and twisted his face into a look of disgust. "Ew, spiders." He shivered at the thought of the snarky little creepy-crawly-creatures. Bokuto started laughing, as if to say Ichiro got caught.

"He's scared of spiders!" He pointed at Ichiro who only looked back at him, the same expression written on his light face. "No, I am not.." He denied the statement and rolled his eyes, sitting back properly. Shit, what if there really was a spider? He thought to himself, keeping a poker face.

"Ichiro is lying, look at him; he's obviously scared!" Lev interjected and pointed at the male as well. "Can you please shut up? Thanks." Ichiro sarcastically remarked and grumbled under his breath, shifting on his seat.

"What a bad temper you have." Tsukishima commented, staring at the older male while stretching his fingers and shaking it a bit. "Oh please, I don't have a bad temper, I'm just blunt" he raised his eyebrow at the taller male's comment.

"I'm not even mad"

Tsukishima hummed and nodded, "If you say so." shooting a jokingly condescending look over to Ichiro. "I hope a frog jumps on your face in your sleep." The shorter male smiled passive aggressively with his eyes lightly closing.

"That's cruel," Suga replied with a small and quiet laugh, smiling along. "It's getting kinda late, we should all head to sleep." He added. The others groaned and frowned. "Nothing is ever too late, as long as we're enjoying ourselves."

Ichiro says. A few seconds later, he felt something crawling up to his back. "Guys.." He called and stood up while furrowing his eyebrows. "Yes?" Suga and Akaashi answered in unison. "I think a spider really is behind me." He shivered.

Kuroo laughed and died down when he realized it was not a joke. "...can you turn around?" He hesitantly asked Ichiro, the others watching in anticipation. Ichiro stiffened up and slowly turned around. There was a huge spider the size of a palm.

"Ichiro, don't scream or move..but there's a huge spider on your back." Kuroo quietly said.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!"
"I SAID DONT SCREAM"

"Guys, please-" "SHUT UP!!" Kuroo and Ichiro yelled and snapped their heads towards Lev. The others stood up quickly and grouped into one, Suga opened his flashlight and slowly pointed it towards Ichiro who was frozen in fear.

The moment the light hit the spider, it started crawling up again. Ichiro let out a high-pitched yell and started to scream around, trying to get the spider off of his shirt. The others stepped back and started to stifle some giggles.

"Bokuto, I think the dare has been done." Akaashi looked over to the said male who laughed, the others agreeing among themselves. Tsukishima shook his head and sighed as he walked towards Ichiro.

"Stay still." He demanded, narrowing his eyes at the green-haired male. Ichiro slightly let out a small whimper and did as said, Tsukishima took the spider on his own hand and squatted down to let the spider go.

The others watched with their eyebrows raised, while Ichiro looked stunned, staring at the blonde male. The moment the spider got down from his hand, Tsukishima stood up and suddenly stepped on it. The others had their mouths gaped in shock.

"What the actual hell." Ichiro deadpanned.

"You scaredy cat." Tsukishima looked and laughed mockingly at Ichiro. Lev crossed his arms and sighed, "You said you weren't scared of spiders." he laughed and lightly pointed a finger at the male who probably just got traumatised and will remember it even in age.

"Says the others who just stood while I suffered."

Akaashi lightly chuckled and looked over to Ichiro. "I just got reminded of that one time as a kid where I was sitting down at the couch and when I looked behind me, there was a spider the same size as that one." he shook his head in amusement.

Sounds of the firewood silently crackled, its flames still blazing. Suga sat back down at the logs. "Childhood memory?" He started, "Well, mine was when I was playing with my friends, and while I was running, something dropped in front of my face; a spider was hanging from its web."

The others hummed and silently laughed, sitting back down at the logs as well, circling the fire-lit woods again. Bokuto pointed a finger up, as if a lightbulb just lit up beside his head. "I have a childhood memory with spiders, too!" He laughed.

The energetic male told his own experience with spiders, some laughs overpowering the sound of the firewood and winded trees. The others trailed after him, all of them telling their own stories after each other.

Stars and the moon glistened above the group of people, the wind swirling through the rustling leaves and bushes. Laughs and voices circulated the night, the firewood still ablaze itself. Well, it was a chaotic night, so to say.
