Kuroo is a bitch. Kenma hated him so much. He literally asked him for one thing, and he forgot. All he wanted to do was spend some time with Kuroo, his best friend, but obviously, it seemed as if Kuroo had different thoughts. Kenma rolled his eyes as he got up from his bed. It was currently four in the morning, and Kenma had been thinking about Kuroo the whole night, unable to sleep, which wasn't that different than any other night.
Kuroo was supposed to come at eleven at night to play video games with Kenma, just as he promised. But, for some stupid reason, - (as Kenma believed) - he didn't come. Kenma thought he did it on purpose, but after knowing Kuroo for a long time, in the back of his mind he believed there was another reason he didn't come.
Kenma got up from his bed and walked to his door. His mother was still sleeping, so he made sure to walk out of his room and downstairs quietly. She would freak out if she found out Kenma wasn't asleep by this time.
Kenma rubbed his eyes as he went to the kitchen to grab himself some apple pie. There were some leftovers from last night, so he decided to have a slice. He ate in silence as he kept thinking about Kuroo.
'Does he really hate me? Did he not want to come because i'm annoying? Is it because I always ask him to do things for me? Is it because i'm not responsible?'
Kenma was always good at working himself up, and that wasn't something he was proud of. He shook his head and thought,
'There's no way.. right?'
Kenma decided that he wouldn't talk to Kuroo this week until he apologized. But he also wouldn't talk to him because he didn't want to be a burden. It was true that he would always ask Kuroo to help him with everything, from doing homework to feeding him. Of course, Kuroo always complied, and secretly loved doing all of these things for Kenma, but Kenma didn't know any of that.
'Okay Kenma, just go to bed now and forget about everything that happened, alright? You still have school tomorrow.'
Kenma checked the time and saw it was already 4:30 in the morning. He widened his eyes as he scrambled to put the dishes into the sink. He had to wake up at 7:00 to get ready for school, meaning he only had two and a half hours to sleep.
'Thats worse than usual.. damn you Kuroo.'
As he was about to run up the stairs, he tripped on some shoes that were by the stairs, causing him to fall straight onto his face right onto the stairs. Kenma cursed loudly, and quickly covered his mouth. He listened quietly for any footsteps, and sighed in relief when he realized his mother was still asleep.
'Stupid fucking stairs..'
He went to the bathroom to look into the mirror and saw his cheek was badly scraped.
'Shit.' He thought. Kenma went to the cupboard and grabbed some alcohol, a gauze, and a big bandage. He went back to the mirror and put some alcohol onto the gauze, slowly putting it onto his scar. He hissed as the alcohol went into his scar, slowly seeping inside of it. Kenma tried not to curse as he started to move the gauze. After a minute of cleaning up the scrape, he took off the gauze which was stained with blood and alcohol. He grabbed the big bandage and placed it onto his cheek.
