Once everything is paid for Harry moves to the pick up counter and Grace walks up to order. "Hey Reggie, I'm gonna do my usual." she says, still obviously distracted by her phone. 8:49am.

Maybe I'll just blame the train or some crazy man trying to kidnap me.

"Already in and paid for, Grace." He has the biggest grin, before signaling with his head toward the man that just finished ordering.

Grace quickly looks over at the man but looks back at Reggie, narrowing her eyes, "If I wasn't running late, I would smack you for letting that happen." she threatens. She just hates when guys do things like that because it usually means they want to talk and ask the girl out. The last thing she would need is for Jesse to catch wind of that somehow. She really wouldn't hear the end of it from him.

"Just go say thank you, Grace. Lina is already working on your order." he says, calling for the next person on line.

Reluctantly, Grace walks over to the pick up window, noticing the man standing in the corner, glancing over to her. Harry offers her a kind smile, which Grace returns, quietly mumbling a thank you. She turns back to the pick up counter, taking note of the heavy feeling in the air between the two.

Harry looks at the back of the girl's head, feeling the need to say something else. He usually would stick to the shadows and not draw even more attention to himself, but he just feels a pull to her.

Just as he opens his mouth to get her attention again, she puts her phone to her ear, taking a phone call.

"No, I'm not doing this right now." she says, already boiling over with rage since Jesse's the reason she's running over twenty minutes later to her class. Harry backs off when he hears how upset she is, looking down at his own phone.

Grace continues to argue with Jesse, only looking up when she hears her name being called for her order. Positioning her phone between her shoulder and ear, she takes her coffee and bag with her muffin, just about running out of the café so she could try to make it to the class to be able to learn something.

Once Harry's order is ready and packed into bags with the coffees in their little cup holders, he leaves another couple of twenties in the tip jar and walks out.

"So, someone paid for your coffee this morning? I mean, I guess that's something good that happened." Holly suggests as the pair walk down 7th Ave. Usually the pair avoids Midtown, not wanting to deal with the crowds of tourists, but Holly had to pick up an order at Macy's.

Grace shrugs, looking out at the street while they walk, watching the cars pass. "It was alright. But just don't bring it up around Jesse. He's just gonna get upset about some guy buying me breakfast. It's over and I'm not thinking about it anymore." she pleads, trying her best to sound like it's not a big deal.

She knows that if Jesse were to find out he would really be pissed and she just doesn't want to set him off even more. Holly gives Grace a weary look, not liking her relationship at all but she just nods, not wanting to upset her even more. That'll be Elias' job later.

Wanting to change the subject, Grace nudges Holly, pointing to the hoards of girls surrounding Madison Square Garden. Holly's eyes widen and the girls laugh slightly at how colorfully these girls are all dressed. "Do we even want to know?" Holly jokes before we approach a girl wearing a pair of pink butterfly pants and a barely there pink top, topped off with a hot pink feather boa.

"Hey, who's performing tonight?" Grace asks, a smile playing on her lips. The girl looks sweet. She smiles, "Harry Styles!" she answers enthusiastically.

Grace looks back at Holly, figuring she may know who that might be. She laughs at Grace's confused expression, "He was in One Direction. Come on, I'll show you back at home." She wraps an arm around her friend while they thank the girl, telling her to have fun.

The pair stop at the crosswalk since it's not their light to cross. Usually that doesn't matter but there are cars driving now.

Harry sits in his car, looking down at his phone as he texts this girl Lexie. They've been talking a lot lately and he really thinks she's pretty and nice. He puts the phone in his pocket as he sees they're approaching the venue.

Looking out the window, he smiles seeing the fans all dressed up. He absolutely loves seeing everyone get so excited for his shows. He takes a picture of the line, wanting to remember everything he can about these concerts, before lowering his window. He knows it's dangerous, but he just loves his fans so much.

As the car passes the corner, his eyes lock on this girl and her friend, wrapped up in a conversation. He recognizes the dark haired girl as the one from this morning, but before he could even fully comprehend the scene in front of him, they're already driving away and fans are screaming.

Grace and Holly look over when they hear screaming, getting alarmed since screaming in New York City isn't very well received. Only when they see girls starting to run toward the car driving past does Grace put two and two together. That must be the Harry guy.

Her brows furrow, recognizing the guy from somewhere. Something inside her wants to say that was the guy who paid for her coffee this morning, but she quickly puts that idea down in her head, not allowing herself to believe an attractive celebrity would buy her a coffee.

There's no way that was the same guy.

Holly grabs Grace's arm, hurrying them across the street and away from the stampede of girls trying to get a glimpse of Harry as he smiles and waves toward them.

Grace will go home and cry herself to sleep. Harry will go back to his hotel room and let his mind wander to the deepest, darkest places. Both will feel an ache in their chests. Both will feel something is missing and wonder why.

Little do the two know the future ahead of them as the distance between them grows. They don't know how many times their paths have crossed or how many more times they'll continue to meet. Neither will remember this encounter, it'll just get stored away in some forgotten part of their brain. Stuck in the same abyss with their other encounters. Year after year, they have failed to truly see the person in front of them for who they are.

Their souls are intertwined, connected. They seek the other out when they feel close. They will continue to find each other in every life, and will never let go once they're together again. Their hearts beat together, their souls were born from the same star.

And when they finally see each other- really look deep into the other's soul- then they will feel whole again. They will know they have found their home. They will know they have found their eternity.

So, I've unpublished Flutter Vol 2. I love Grace and Harry with all my heart, however I just don't see myself going back to this story. I had so many plans for them, for every one of my lovely characters. For now, enjoy these little one shots (or Dove Stories as I like to call them).

Somewhere in the world (most likely in Venice) Grace and Harry are living happily ever after with their babies and their families. He wrote Harry's House for her, as well as all his albums after that. If you have any questions about the fates of our friends, please feel free to ask. <3

I love you all and I hope you enjoy these little stories over the next few days.
