Disintegrating Together

Chapter 1

Its a cold night. A very cold one. The sky is a deep blue as Mads cuts up carrots from his garden. Well, its not really his garden. Its actually his best friend Joses garden, but Jose doesnt really have a good yard to grow things in, so he uses Mads's house. The large man sighs happily at the thought of Jose. That adorable little grey eyed man makes his heart melt. Too bad he has a boyfriend.. At that moment his doorbell rang. "Coming!" Mads shouted, setting down the knife and carrot, washing his hands before going to the door and slowly opening it "He...-" He was surprised to see Joses face, but his eyes slowly lowered to look at the mans shaking, blood covered hands. The tiny male looked up at his best friend, tears in his eyes "C-c-can I.. can I come in..?" Jose whispered shakily. He looked so pathetic, so helpless right here.. Yes, Mads was concerned about his companion being drenched in blood, but he believed there must be a reason. "Of course.." Mads whispered, opening the door and letting him inside. Jose stumbled in, leaving a trail of blood on the floor. He dropped a knife and slumped against a wall, staring down at his trembling hands. Mads quickly leads him to the bathroom, putting him into the bath. It might have spread the scarlet liquid onto his poor clean suit, but he could care less, he was more worried about his drenched friend. "So.. tell me how this happened?" He asks, as Jose removes his stained clothes. "You.. you know how ive been seeing Charles, right?" Mads nods as Jose talks, taking the shower head and turning on the warm water, listening in. "Well.. I found out hes.. hes been doing a lot of bad things. And um... spreading photos of me around. He asked me to do some weird things, and then when I didnt he wouldent l-let me leave, and then he- he.. he used me.." Jose bursts back down into sobs, holding his knees to his chest. Something sparks in Mads as he hears the sorrowful tale of his confidant. Something angry. "Oh Jose.. I'm so sorry.. but.. how did it lead to this..?" Mads asks, scrubbing at the blood on Joses shoulders. The red headed man takes a deep breath before speaking again "When he was.. was finished.. I managed to stumble my way to the kitchen and.. the rest is a blur... once I woke up he was dead and I was like.. like this." Mads sighs softly and puts a hand to Joses face "Jose. Listen to me, okay? Do not blame yourself. He deserved it, okay?" Jose sniffles and nods, leaning into Mads's large, warm hand. Its so soft.. Somehow, it always seemed to calm him..
Mads on the other hand, was able to see the bright side of this unfortunate situation. With Charles out of the way, Jose was free.. free for Mads to swoop in and take for himself. He looked down at the sniffling wet male, slowly leaning in and pressing a kiss to his lips. 
Jose was surprised at the kiss, something in his heart activating. Mads had always been there. It was Mads. It had ALWAYS been Mads.. the only man for him.. With his arms now clean, Jose wraps them around Mads, kissing him back as diamond like tears fall down his rosy cheeks. Eventually, the large man pulls his mouth away, caressing his companions cheek as he speaks "I would do anything for you.. I want to protect you.. youre too perfect for this world... would you do anything for me?" Jose nods, staring up at him. Mads continues "Would you kill for me?" "Of course.." "Would you burn this world down for me?" "..Yes.." Jose's voice is quiet, but he manages to speak. This is just flirting. Things that people who love each other say.. Until Mads talks once more.

"How would you do it."

This takes Jose by surprise. It sounds a little.. specific, but he doesnt mind. A tiny smile grows on the red haired males face as he rests his arms around Mads's neck "With an ax and matches.. I will kill them all. No one would be spared.. and then.. I would blow up the moon!" His grin grows. Hes having a little fun imagining it, it feels silly, pretending to be a super villain. Mads's face is serious though and he holds up his hand "Then let me do it.. are you ready? I'm going to destroy the universe." Jose nods and smiles even more, kissing Mads's fingers "For good luck! We dont need anybody but each other!" Mads's heart is warmed by those words, and he snaps his fingers..

They can hear cries of anguish, sirens going out, and then slowly.. the world begins to disintegrate around them. Jose clings tightly to Mads, gasping as they are left only in darkness. He can breathe, and he can feel himself floating, but hes still scared to let go..
"W-What did you do???" He asks, looking around with wide eyes. All he can see is himself in Mads's arms. His friend chuckles and runs his fingers up Jose's body "I did what I told you I would.. now its only us, forever.. How do you feel?" Mads asks, smirking down at Jose. Hes breathing heavily, Jose's red hair falling into his grey eyes "I.. I feel.. free.." He manages to say. This is what he wanted, right? To only need Mads. Theres no more hate, no judgement.. and he wont go to jail for killing Charles.. this is good? His eyes start to tear up though. Despite all the good things, theres nothing fun about floating in the dark for eternity. He'll miss the warm beach, he'll miss his garden.. and he'll miss all the adorable animals on earth..

Mads can sense that his lover is upset and cups his cheeks "We can create a new world.. as gods. You can be whatever you want! You can build the world up right, make everything peaceful.. and we can do it together.." He murmured, smiling softly down at him. Jose sniffled, his tears slowly stopping "We.. we could be gods..?" Mads nods and kisses the tip of his nose "Yes.. now go ahead darling, use your new powers.. create something."
Jose sits up a little, rubbing his face on his sleeve and focusing. Slowly, white wings sprout from his back, making Jose squeal "I- I really can do anything!" Mads laughs softly at the wings, stroking them gently before reaching a hand out and creating a sun, planets, and moons "Here you go darling.. do whatever you like with them.." Jose looks back at Mads, quickly hugging him tightly and kissing him before flying down to the planet, his feet landing on the soft, warm sand of a beach. This is his world now. He will make one of love, of life.. He will be the best god there is.
