I walked over to the art room and slowly walked up to the teacher.
"Hi i'm Mrs Kirkland, are you new?"
"Yes, i'm new"
"And you will be joining my class...?"
"Yes"
"Right! Let's start with your name, what is it?"
"Emily Hart"
"Nice to meet you Emily"
Mrs Kirkland put me at an empty seat next to Brandon and Nancy's brother. I walked over to the empty desk while blushing and looking down as everyone was staring at me in awe.
"Hi, i'm Max Roberts"
"Hi Max. You're Brandon and Nancy's brother right?"
"Yea, why?"
"Brandon's in my math class and Nancy's has gym with me"
"Oh okay then"
"Right everyone! Get out your art books and start sketching a picture of a bird soaring through the sky" announced Mrs Kirkland
I took out my art book and started to sketch a bird. In the corner of my eye, I saw Max staring at me. I looked up at him and said "What?"
"Nothing. It's just that..."
"It's just what...."
"Brand..." Suddenly the bell rang and off he rose without saying a single word.
