As usual, I'll be chilling at my spot here in greenbelt park.
Don't know if familiar kayo but, it's in makati. After ng band rehearsal, dito ako usually nagpupunta. It's calm here, at least for me. Madami minsang tao, minsan naman konti lang.
I'm currently listening to Demons by imagine Dragons pero yung version ng Boyce Avenue, featuring Jennel Garcia. It's a good one.
Oh, where are my manners? I'm Gael. I'm a musician. Well, at least that's what I see myself. I've been in a band with my friends for 3 years.
Our band name? Unfortunately, sa tatlong taon na iyon, wala pa kaming naitatawag sa mga sarili namin. I'm the band's lead guitarist, by the way.
I'm also the back-up voice for our vocalist.
Sarap ng simoy ng hangin dito, nakakaantok. I checked my watch. Grabe di ko na namalayan yung oras. It's already 4PM. I gotta go back to my apartment at baka nagugutom na yung pusa ko. Yes, I have a cat and she's a girl. Her name is Cleo.
I stood up and took my things, syempre.
Saan ako nakatira? Syempre, di ko na isshare pa yun. But I stay in a small apartment.
As I'm walking my way out of this park. May mall din pala dito so if you want to buy something, easy nalang then chill, ganon.
After a few walks, nakalabas nadin sa wakas. I'll ride the MRT nalang para mabilis nalang ang byahe ko. Just going to peacefully walk and mind my own business while setting my music on full blast.
Okay, now we're all se--
"Ay! OMG!"
I was caught off guard by this rushing girl. Di ko siya napansin sa sobrang bilis ng pangyayare. Nasanggi niya ako and made me dropped my phone.
"Hala sorry! Sorry talaga! Di ko sinasadya." Sabi niya.
Hmm, it seems she's in a hurry. She carries a lot of papers and folders din. Maybe she's going to attend to some meeting and she's already late, probably.
"No, it's fine." Sabi ko nalang sakaniya.
"Sorry talaga. Nagmamadali kasi ako eh. Sorry talaga."
She keeps apologizing. It's no big deal naman or maybe, she's worried sa phone.
I didn't notice she also dropped hers. We both grabbed our phones.
"Next time, be careful nalang." I said.
"Hehe, sorry talaga. Uuna na ako."
As soon as she turned her back on me, tumuloy nadin ako. Few walks, nagulat ako nag disconnect yung headphones ko sa phone ko. I was about to reconnect, when I turned on my phone and nagulat ako iba na yung wallpaper.
This isn't my phone.
"Uuuuuyyyy!!!"
I turned my head and saw that girl again, running towards me while waving the phone or rather, my phone that she's holding.
"Nag kapalit tayo ng phone."
"Yeah, kita ko nga."
"Same pala tayo ng phone nuh? Haha same pa ng casing." Sabi niya while giggling, "Sign na siguro para mag palit na ako ng casing."
Hmm, I noticed how lively she speaks. Parang lahat ng sinasabi niya may halong positivity.
We exchanged phones na and she waved goodbye and again, humingi siya ng pasensya sakin. Tinanguan ko nalang siya and went on my way.
