Adelaide looked up to Chad, giving him a knowing look. He simply gave her a small nod as they followed after Tara and Frankie.

"Hey, partner!" Chad called after Frankie, who was walking up the stairs with Tara. "Tara's good down here."

Frankie scoffed, "Sorry, bro, I didn't catch that."

Chad chuckled, not backing down, "Yeah, you did."

"No, Chad. It's fine, I want to." Tara reassured the boy. "Yeah, see, Chad. She wants to." Frankie got up in the boys face before harshly grabbing Tara, trying to drag her up the stairs.

"No way!" Adelaide screeched, grabbing Tara whilst Chad dealt with Frankie.

"How about you get your fucking hands off her!" Chad shouted. "Get the fuck off me!" Frankie shot back.

"Guys!" Tara shouted, trying to stop the boys who were pushing one another.

"Who the fuck are you, Risky Business?" Chad taunted.

Sam suddenly appeared as she got between the boys, "Stop, guys. Sorry to interrupt. I'm gonna tase you in the balls real quick."

Whilst everyone screamed in shock as they watched Frankie fall to the floor screaming in pain, Adelaide jumped up and down, squealing. "Yeah! You tell him, Sam!"

"Don't ever lay hands on my sister." Sam seethed, walking away. "You fucking bitch!"

"Sam, are you fucking kidding me? You're stalking me now?" Tara scoffed, exiting the room.

"Holy shit, it's that psycho girl!" Everyone began taking out their phones, recording the young Loomis girl.

Sam clenched her jaw before storming out of the room, as Mindy and Anika followed after her.

"Come on, Adel." Chad spoke, grabbing his girlfriends hand, but she dropped his, walking over to Frankie. "I'll fucking gut you if you touch Tara again." Adelaide threatened, before Chad dragged her away, knowing she would only get herself in more trouble if she stayed.

"Can you give me a piggyback?" Adelaide questioned her boyfriend as they left the party. Chad simply nodded in response.

She took a few steps back, before jumping onto his back with ease as his hands wrapped around her thighs.

She rested her head in the crook of his neck, listening to the argument being shared between the two sisters in front of her.

"Tara, will you stop?" Sam pleaded. "I cannot believe you did that! You embarrassed me."

"That guy was a dick, he was gonna take advantage of you!" Tara span around, halting. "So?!"

           "So?"

"If I want to hook up with an asshole, that's my decision! It's my decision." Tara seethed. "Okay." Sam calmly replied.

"It's not about you! You're out of my life for fire years, and then you can't leave me alone for five minutes."

"Because you're not dealing with what happened to us. Have you even gone to see the counsellor once?" Both Chad and Adelaide tensed at the mention of what had happened.

Chad tapped his girlfriends thighs, trying to silently reassure her. "No, i'm not going to." Tara shot back.

"Why not?" Sam questioned, "Because i'm uninterested in living in the past like you are."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Sam continued, "Guys, come on." Chad sighed.

"It means i'm not gonna let what happened to us for three days define the rest of my life." Tara ignored Chad's words.

"So you're just gonna pretend it never happened?"

Tara ignored her question as her tone became calm, "What are you doing here, Sam? In New York. You're working two shitty jobs to help with rent, whatever, but what's your plan?"

Sam remained quiet, clearly not having an answer. "I know what i'm gonna do. Okay? Because i'm gonna keep going to college, i'm gonna get my degree, and i'm gonna live my life. My life. The way I know. You just followed me here, and you won't let me out of your sight."

"I'm just trying to look out for you." Those words fuelled Tara's anger even more as she put her hands on her head before dragging them down her face.

"I—" Tara took a deep breath before calming her voice. "I know you are. You can't do it for the rest of my life, though. You have to let me go."

Sam opened her mouth to speak, when some girl ran by, throwing a drink onto Sam. "Oh hell the fuck no!" Adelaide dragged herself off of Chad's back, pouncing for the girl, but Chad still managed to hold her back, having a strong grip on his girlfriends waist.

"Murderer!" The unknown girl shouted. "What the fuck is wrong with you, bitch?!" Sam shouted, pushing the girl.

"You got a problem with me?!" Sam continued as Adelaide still tried to pry Chad's hands off of her. Adelaide soon realised Chad wasn't going to let her go, so instead, she leaned into her boyfriends touch, resting her body against his.

"You guys should stay away from her, she knows what she did!"

"I didn't fucking do anything!" Sam screamed. "Sure, bitch." The girl taunted.

"I'm so sick of this shit." Sam spat, reposting her shirt.

Nobody had anything left to say as they all walked away, leaving Sam alone.
