Amidst the darkness there, I saw.
A sun so alluring, that it had me in awe.
Nothing has ever, made me feel this way,
I never knew I'd fall every single day.
He's my sun, he always shines,
In my mind, I call him mine.
But like the sun, he's far away,
Nevertheless, I love him anyway.
In my darkness, he was there,
He lightened up my glooming stare.
He saved me, but he doesn't know,
For my life, it's him I owe.
