Mountain Hiking... Weird Choice!

Ring... ring... riiiing...

The first Nene sounds heard was her phone ringing.

"Ugh..." She forced herself awake, groggily picking up her phone, seeing who could possibly be calling her awake. Rui...? What does Rui want... Nene questioned in her mind. She pressed the accept button, and held the phone up to her ear.

"What do you want Rui...?" Nene tiredly said.

"Aw, not even a hello? How rude!"

"Rui... you literally just woke me up. Do you expect me to have the energy to say hello to you right now?"

"Fufu... sorry Nene! I have an idea, wanna hear it?"

"No. Now let me sleep. Goodbye—"

"It has Emu in it." Rui said slyly, stopping Nene from ending the call.

"...what are you planning?" Nene asked, getting suspicious.

"I knew you would listen! Now, how would you feel if you and Emu-kun went on a double date with me and Tsukasa-kun?"

What? "A double date? When-?"

"Hmm... I was thinking maybe later today! It is such a nice day out, don't you think?" Nene then took a glance outside, seeing a lovely bright sunny day outside.

"Fine... but where are we even gonna go?"

"Perhaps the mountains! It was fun last time when you and I went there and saw Mizuki, wasn't it?"

"You literally forced me to run... and besides, a mountain? That's a weird date idea..."

"Please Nene? Maybe you and Emu-kun can have some romantic moments, no?"

Nene turned red just from thinking about it, immediately flustered. "S-shut up Rui...! sigh, I'll ask Emu about it, okay?"

"Thanks Nene, I'll text you when to get ready, and location of the mountain. Ta-ta!" Rui hanged up gayly, as the zest fest he is.

He's so gay... especially for Tsukasa. Zesty too. Nene chuckled to herself. Right, I gotta tell Emu about this double date. She'll be really happy about this... hehe, I love seeing her happy. She blushed, already imagining how cheerful Emu would be.

She picked up her phone again, went to her contacts, pressed Emu's contact that said "emu <333", and dialled it. Almost instantly, Emu picked up.

"Hiii Nene-chaaaan!"

Nene smiled, happy to hear Emu's voice. "Hi Emu..."

"Wanna hear about a story?"

"Sure! Go ahead."

"Okay! So—"

Three hours... have passed. And Nene still hasn't asked Emu about the double date! The two girls were just laughing and talking about random things, therefore Nene got distracted.

"Haha! I love calling with you, Nene-chan!" Emu giggled, laughing at something Nene said.

"Hehe... I love calling with you too, Emu..." Nene smiled. Her cheeks started to ache from all the smiling she was doing, but how could she not? Emu was with her, and Emu always made her smile.

Nene almost forgot about the double date, that was until she got a test from Rui saying, "Nene! You and Emu can get ready now, me and Tsukasa-kun are heading to the train station that takes us to the mountains."
