"Nope. And we're not close so I feel weird saying anything to him. Plus, that's selfish because I want my best friend to be happy and I don't wanna get in the way of that."

"Do you like chocolate? Or literally anything in this bag? I bought snacks to eat while watching movies that will probably make me cry."

Jisung shakes his head. "Sometimes I get reminded of how lonely I am when I have no one to share food with. Luckily I have some friends who love stealing food off my plate when they get the chance."

"Sounds like my best friend." It goes quiet for a minute before Jaemin speaks again. "Well I also planned to distract myself from my feelings. Wanna do it together?"

"You don't mind that I'm a stranger?"

"You'll have to decide that after spending time with me."

As soon as he enters the apartment, Jeno lets out a frustrated groan and glares at Marks amused expression.

"I take it you didn't have a good time."

"Renjun texted me earlier asking if I really don't know who Jisung is and I didn't wanna like so I told him and then Renjun said "fuck" and I've been on delivered since then. I also just feel bad."

"Man, what did you think was gonna happen having a date in his bar? And at the counter too? You were just asking for it."

Jeno flips the male off, who only continues to laugh. "And I didn't decide where we sat, Renjun did. He said he liked sitting at the bar."

"Are Renjun and Jisung friends?"

"Probably."

"Then it was probably some sort of set-up."

"Do you ever have anything helpful to say?"

"Sometimes but I don't go out of my way to be helpful. I like saying the obvious things that make people wanna punch me in the face."

"You're doing great at it."

"So what are you gonna do now?" Mark asks, nodding towards his phone.

"Wait for Renjun to respond and do my best to avoid Jisung. I don't think he wants to see me anymore."

"I wouldn't wanna see you either."

Jeno groans. "For the love of God, shut the fuck up."
