I was in my room, scrolling in my phone.
When all of a sudden, someone moved in on the empty room next to mine. It's annoying on how the owner of the mansion keeps on inviting people in.
Soon, this place is probably gonna turn into a shelter.
Hi, my name's Celine. I'm 20 years old, i'm living with someone i was supposed to kill in the past.
I don't know why she still accepted me in her place even though i gave her emotional and physical trauma.
But eh, don't see me complaining. It's a nice house.
I went to the room next door to see who it is, it was just a normal mortal boy.
His name is Oliver, he's in the same age as me.
I don't really know, but the first time i saw him, i was clearly annoyed and want nothing to do with him. I don't have time to socialize with mortals, especially if it's someone who's gonna mock me too.
"Hm, wierd, does no one want to talk to me or anything?-" said Oliver. I replied "Maybe because you're boring"
"Oh- Hello there!" he waved at me.
It made me flutter. Are there butterflies in my stomach?! I replied back with a simple hi.
He asked me "What's your name?", i replied "it's not important."
"Oh, alright then, i'm Oliver, heh-" i cut his sentence "I know."
Then, someone hit me "OW-" ah great, it's the annoying kid. "Stop being rude, jeez" said the kid. "What did i miss?" said Felix, she's the cook of the house. Well.. She's dead so she's not able to cook, for now that is.
"Why are you here?" asked Felix. I didn't reply, why would she care. It's not like i bother her while she's doing.. Ghostly stuffs? "I thought you were in the orb."
I replied "Why do you care?" Oliver then said "I don't like seeing others get hurt."
Oh no.. "Great" i accidentally said out loud. It caught Oliver's attention.. "Is there something wrong..?" he said with a low voice, clearly concerned.
"I'm stuck with another goody two shoes"
"Oh.."
..He sounded so concerned, why does he keep getting my attention. I'm not used to this feeling. What is happening?
I just left, i couldn't handle another feeling of "love" they say.
The next day
"WHERE IS IT?!??!" I screamed "FELIX!!!!"
A sudden knock interrupted me. "GET OUT!!" i yelled at whoever the one knocked at the door. "Geez calm down-" oh no.. That voice. It's Oliver.
"What?" Felix interrupt. "WHERE THE HELL IS MY NOTEBOOK?!" I shouted at the both of them. They seemed pretty confused on why i'm worried about a notebook..
"Oh" Felix reacted "I found it on the living room" she said that as she gave me my notebook. I was speechless. Did she open it?!
Felix then said "I didn't open it-" which i cut the sentence with "Did you read it." "No" replied Felix. That's a relief..
"Uhm.. Can i come in?" asked Oliver "NO!" i replied shouting.
Felix gave me a pat to calm me down. Which frustrated me more since i'm not a child.
Felix then said to Oliver "You better leave before she turns into a volcano" as she grabbed him, Oliver then said to me "If you need anything from me, just go to my room-" and then he left..
Why did i seem sad when he left.. It's like, i wanted his comfort.
It's afternoon, and i heard some sobbing. It's probably Oliver. Why do i feel concerned about that mortal boy.. I left to check it out.
And there he is, sobbing.
"Ehem" i interrupted "H-huh..?" Oliver looked at me.. Those teary eyes.. AGH STOP DREAMING-
"Are you crying?" i asked. Oliver stuttered saying no. "Don't lie to me." I said.
"Okay.. I may have cried a bit..."
"Ugh. What happened?"
"..Just an argument between me and my mother."
"Let me guess, your mother wants you to be perfect and treats you badly?"
"Mhm.."
"Hah! I've seen a lot of that"
Oliver suddenly sighed and said "She said i have to be like my two older brothers.. always being perfect, not being a freak.."
I was shocked.. I didn't know we had something in common. I pulled myself together and said "You don't have to change because of what people says about you." he went silent.. And then he spoke.. "Really..?" "Mhm." i replied with a soft smile on my face.
"Thank you.." he continued "Celine right?"
"How did you know?" i asked. "Ah- Somebody told me- But that's not important" Ehhh.. I knew exactly who it was.
"Samantha?" i asked again. "Ahhh- Yep" he replied nervously. I gotta admit, it was pretty cute.
"Uhm.. Well-"
"What?"
"Celine.. That's a pretty name.."
I paused.. I never heard someone say that to me before..
Then he spoke again "..Did i say something..?
I finally replied "No one told me that before.." "Oh.." he replied, he clearly ran out of words. Then finally clicked back to reality.
"Why am i even talking to you right now." And then i left.
Not really. To be honest, it was nice talking to him.. I stayed for a bit..
"Hm.. Celine isn't as bad as she seems.." Oliver said. "I didn't know she's kind..!" Felix replied.
"Yeah" i spoke.
They all screamed because of shock.
"Whatever" then i left, for real this time.
