Memories were a disease to Seira, and she couldn't help but be disappointed that they were playing as she stood at the edge of the woods with Aki by her side. The funeral for her now deceased friend, Zeldris, only just happened yesterday. She carried his casket, spoke at the funeral, and watched as the cracked wood was laid in the ground right next to his beloved wife. Memories couldn't help but resurface after all this time at such moments, and she shook her head in hopes of ridding the memories from overplaying. Aki couldn't help but notice the fire that was set under Seira after the funeral, for she wanted more than ever to sink her claws into the nasty creature of Hell, handing out the judgement of Heaven to the monster. He liked it though, for any fire set in Seira also was set in him and motivated him just as much as it did Seira.

They stood there for several moments, going through the plan in both of their heads, and Aki only turned to Seira watching she had an indescribable look on her face. Her eyes held a far off look in them, but even with her trying so hard to be emotionless during this time her eyes glimmered against the early sunlight. She turned towards him, and gave him a soft yet saddened smile, one that broke Aki's soul and heart into a million pieces. He hated to see her in such a state and cursed the gods and devils forever punishing her with such human emotions. Aki without realizing it had placed Seira on a pedestal she shouldn't be at, and Seira without realizing it took advantage of such a place. They were truly selfish humans, but human nonetheless, which they often forgot.

"Don't die on me, Aki, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if you were not by my side," Seira told him with a look that resembled one of pity, and Aki couldn't help but long to embrace her, but he refrained from doing so and only gave her a nod of affirmation.

Seira quickly leaped up into the tree line, and Aki watched in mesmerized affection, he wanted to truly know the truth behind her devil contract more than ever before. He followed in suit after Seira, only he stayed on the ground as she instructed, while she kept an eye over head for the devil and his safety. They both leaped and dodged an assortment of things in their way, and Aki and Seira had never felt so free in what felt like a race in between the both of them, like two cubs of the same pact chasing one another for fun. Seira could feel the presence of the Devil coming closer from a distance, and she had to keep her mind clear from the thousands of thoughts running in her head.

Within a moments breath the creature of hell pointed its sharp arm at Aki, and he quickly drew his blade and dodged the numerous attacks the devil threw at him. He was shocked that he was able to keep up with the animal's strikes, but his countless hours of training the goddess of war molded his body into that of a weapon itself. Seira watched with a bated breath for an opening from the beast, and when she saw one, she quickly went in for the kill. She swung herself from the tree, flying as if she were bullet through one of the beast arm's slicing it clean off before moving to the next one and cutting the snake like arms from the devil's body. Aki had barely seen the attack, but with time of watching Seira in all her glory fight as she were a descendant of the goddess Athena, he was slowly able to train his eyes to the fast pace that his master followed.

She hurriedly jumped back up into the trees and began tracking the devil as it retreated farther into the forest, and Aki quickly followed behind her. A long game of cat and mouse continued between the devilish fear, and the self-proclaimed hunter's for god. With the devil stopping to attack the two, pushing them back only slightly, and running deeper as the sun made the air thick with heat. The two had built up a heavy sweet, but neither one faltered, for both Aki and Seira felt high the game they played, seeking out judgement to deliver punishment was enough of a drive to keep them going in the endless cycle.
