laura unlocked the door with her spare keys, as the door pushed open iris heard someone say what the fuck under their breath not expecting anyone to just walk in.
laura stepped out of the way gesturing for iris to go infront followed by clem and lia, iris started to walk up the stairs towards the main living area where nick and chris were sat on the couch looking towards the stairs still confused on who the hell would be letting themselves into their house
as iris came to the top of the stairs they both opened their mouth about to say something but before they could iris quickly motioned to be quiet still wanting to surprise matt.
"dont say anything i wanna surprise matt" she whispered quietly as her, clem and lia all walked towards two out of the three brothers and hugged them individually
"is he in his room?" she asked nick as she hugged him before moving onto hugging chris
"chrizzzzzz" iris laughed at the nickname whilst hugging chris as he laughed aswell knowing he would never live that nickname down
"yeah im pretty sure hes asleep tho he said he was going to nap like 30 minutes ago" nick said to iris who was now stood around the couch as lia and clem conversed with chris, laura and madi.
iris whispered okay before walking away from everyone in the living room and towards matts bedroom trying not to make her shoes stomp on the floor
she made it to his bedroom door before pushing it open slowly not knowing whether he would be awake.
matt was laying on his bed playing clash of clans when he heard his door open, figuring it was just nick or chris he didnt turn around to face door and just kept his back to it.
"hi mattttt" iris said in a happy tone, matt immediately turned around realising the voice straight away
"WHAT THE FUCK" matt jumped, one out of fear thinking he was going to hear his brothers voice and two out of surprise at the fact that iris was stood in his room
"how are you" iris laughed knowing the boy was so shocked and confused right now
matt stood up from his bed before rounding it to hug iris wrapping his arms around her as she leaned into his chest before wrapping her arms around matt. itis was now grinning like she never has before happy to have finally met matt in real life
"what are you doing here this is so crazy wtf" matt said whilst still hugging iris "felt like coming a month early" she said whilst shrugging but not moving to break the hug
eventually they stopped hugging and iris took in everything that just happened starting with looking around his room not believing she was actually there after months of facetiming and seeing it in the background
she eventually looked at matt who was still smiling at her "ur fit is crazy rn" she laughs looking at his short that says 'gaslighting is not real youre just crazy' paired with black sweat pants and socks
"i look fire rn dont lie" he laughs as he looks down at his shirt and then back up at iris who was now laughing
"i look fire rn" iris mimicked whilst laughing in an american accent getting used to all of the american accents she was hearing
