"It's professor Umbridge, she absolutely hates my guts. She makes it her one goal to make sure that I'll end up in detention. Plus I have quidditch practices more than ever since matches will start soon again. Considering we are playing Slytherin first we need to put our best foot forward. Sorry but not really. I have to study for this mock exam that Umbridge decided was a excellent to add on is driving me insane. I haven't had a moment to breath." he stated as he laid his head on their hands. Closing his eyes for a moment of resting. Blair got the urge to play with his hair. She decided to, as she knew that always calmed her down.

"Then we will take a day off of studying, I think you deserve it. I mean you have improved greatly from the beginning. I'm quite proud." She said continuing to play with his hair. He smiled at the thought of this being normal for them two. "Do you want to return back to your dorm to rest I can-"

"No can we just stay like this for a bit." he whispered.

"Of course."

After a moment Harry opened his eyes once again. "We have had many study sessions together but I realized we don't really know much of each other."

"Umm.. I a pureblood Slytherin." she joked.

"Besides that. I mean what's the life of Blair Knot." he smiled. Blair hesitated for a minute unsure what to say. Not many people asked about her outside of her friend group and they known each other their whole life so she never thought to think about herself.

"I like to read. Its my favorite thing to do." she smiles thinking about the stories she's read. "I hope to have a big library one day."

"Oh yea I remember the day at the book store."

"I honestly like to read, it's a distraction for me. When things get stressful I will read." Blair smiled. "How about you Chosen One. What is something that I don't know about you."

"The first time I saw you I thought you were pretty." Harry spoke with confidence that he had no idea where it came from. Blair's face became red at the idea of Harry thinking she was pretty. She knew that she was quiet attractive, she had many people tell her that before but for some reason, Harry's words made her smile like a madman.

"Oh stop it Potter, you flatter me." She jokes.

"I'm being honest Ron had to tell me to stop staring but for some reason I just couldn't." Blair become more bright as an apple with each word that fell out of his mouth. They looked at each other for a minute unsure what to say with one another. "Have you ever had your first kiss?" Taken aback Blair shook her head. "Really, I couldn't imagine a girl as pretty as you not having a first kiss already."

"Well with friends like mine, who are very over protective it's very difficult to." She joked.

"What was it like growing up with Malfoy and them." Harry asked genuinely. Blair eyes gleamed for a second.

"Oh it was wonderful. They are my family. I knew whatever happens I would always have them at the end of the day." she paused for a breath. "My mother passed when I was born so I never knew her. So Draco's mother really fulfilled that spot in my life. She is a dear." Blair began to rant. Even though Harry didn't see eye to eye with the other green snaked he couldn't help but listen to every word that was falling out of her mouth. "I genuinely do not know who I would be without them. I know you guys don't really see eye to eye, but their my everything. I would do anything for them." she smiled to herself.

"So your home life must have been amazing." Harry joked. Blair tensed up and stared off into the distance. Harry sat there for a second waiting for a reaction but as time continued on Blair didn't move a muscle. "Blair are you okay?" grabbing her attention she nodded.

"Oh I'm sorry Harry I dozed off for a minute." Blair stood up straight. "What were we discussing."

"Home life."

"Oh yes, mine was quiet the experience." she looked down.

"What was it like?"

"A dollhouse." she answered honestly. Harry looked at her confusingly. As he was about to ask a question Blair beat him to the answer. "It's fake. Blair Knott is a tale. I don't have an identity only what is given to me. I mean I have my friends but other than that not much of myself." she paused. "I mean I have these goals that I want to achieve and create my own image."

"What are they?" Harry asked with interest.

"I want to go away. Far from here. Away from the prejudice, the hierarchy, the repeated expectations from generation to generation, the sexism, and the pressure to be the best." She told. Harry looked at her confused.

"I thought being a pureblood was 'a blessing'" Harry asked. Blair scoffed.

"It's a curse. Like I said Harry its a dollhouse. You are one image on the outside but in the inside you something completely different. It's fake." Blair looked out behind Harry into the forest.

"Are you okay Blair?" she nodded.

Blair debated telling the boy about her past. She knew he may be able to relate to her as she knew his past home life was not the best. She was about to speak up until Draco walked up to their table.

"Blair." he said with a soft tone. "Potter." he spat.

"Yes Draco?" Blair turned to face him.

"I wanted to speak to you." Draco turned to Harry. "Alone." Harry scoffed and grabbed his bag and started to get up and leave.

"Goodnight Blair. I hope to continue this conversation later." he smiled as he walked away. Blair watched as he walked away. She felt her heart begin to warm. She knew it was wrong. She could not like him. He was Harry Potter the boy who her family was against, yet she couldn't help but smile of the thought of them together.

"Blair?" Draco called. Blair turned to her best friend. The first look on his face made her pull him close. He silently began to cry in her chest.

"You're okay Draco." she said as she held him close playing with his hair. "You're safe. I got you." He cried in her chest for a bit as she continued to play with his hair. She knew that for him to cry something would need to have bother him real bad. Him crying was not usual, in fact the pair would rarely see the other cry. "What happened love?" Draco stood silent for a second. He backed up and wiped his tears.

"My father wrote me a letter." Blair knew that his father's letters never carried cheerful news.

"What happened?"

"He will be staying with us for the break." Blair choked on her saliva. "Turns out father offered our home to him and he will be residing with us until he deems to leave." Draco Malfoy did not have many fears in his life, but the Dark Lord was one of them. Living under the same roof was not a idea he loved. Knowing that he would be there with his mother scared the daylights out of him.

"I'm so sorry Draco. I know how much this is going to effect you. If you want I can ask if you can stay with us over the break or I can stay with you so you don't have to be alone." Blair paused for a second. "We will figure this out together. You are not alone. I am here for you." Blair spoke softly as she pulled him close. He pulled back and gently put his hand on her face. Pushing her hair behind her ear.

"Merlin Blair, what I would be without you." Blair smiled as they stayed there for a bit.
