Chapter 53: "Denying"

Tuloy-tuloy na pahayag ni Mikha. Hinawakan naman ni Aiah ang mga kamay nito. Nilingon niya ang kasintahan at ngumiti ito nang isang payak. Aiah dont know what to feel. Coz she can feel Mikha's frustration. She badly wants to talk to her girlfriend at that moment.

Nagkatinginan na lang din naman ang anim at nagkibit balikat na lang.

Jhoanna: "Kung yan ang desisyon niyo then I will inform the management. Ill tell them first then I will give heads up when to post the official statement."

Mikha: "No worries. Just let me know. Again, I am very sorry for what happened. Sorry for causing stress and inconvenience to all. Guarantee it will not happen again."

Tumango tango lang ang anim sa tinuran ni Mikha.

Stacey: "Okay nay yun Mikhs, Ate Aiah. So, lets call it a night na!"

Sheena: "Yeah! And I hope everything will be fine tomorrow."

Jhoanna to Mikha: "Mikhs, please stay and I will call Ate Jovs"

Mikha just nodded.

Colet to Jhoanna: "Love, after niyan magpahinga ka na rin ah."

Jhoanna: "Yes po. Sige na akyat na kayo. Ako na bahala dito."

Mikha to Colet: "No worries Ate Cols we will finish this fast."

Inaya na ni Colet ang iba na umakyat sa kanya kanyang silid para magpahinga.

Colet to Aiah: "Aiah, tara na?"

Aiah: "Mauna na kayo. I will stay with Mikhs and Jho."

Mikha to Aiah: "Its okay, go and have rest na I can handle this."

Seryosong turan ni Mikha sa kasintahan. Nagtinginan lang din ang anim. Jhoanna look to her girlfriend as if saying Go and get others from here. Which the latter understood. The three left and Jhoanna felt the tension from Mikha and Aiah. She needs to do something.

Jhoanna: "Are you sure you want to do it tonight? Kasi pwede naman gawin to bukas. Gusto niyo bang pag usapan na dalawa muna?"

Mikha: "Ngayon na Jho. I can post the statement now. I think there is no need to let the management know about it. So easy to deny everything."

Aiah and Jhoanna can feel sarcasm on Mikhas statement. Aiah remained silent but tears were threatening to fall. Jhoanna is now between the lovers and dont know what to say until she heard Mikha gave in a deep sigh.

Mikha: "Please Jho, I want to finish this. We have an early call time tomorrow and I dont want to keep you up. This issue are making touble already to the group. Our mistakes, I own it. I'll clean it. I'll  take the responsibility."

Nakayuko lang si Aiah the whole time. Pabalik balik lang din ang tingin ni Jhoanna sa dalawa. She knows why Mikha is acting in such a way. Her lover wants to deny their relationship in public and it affects her. The leader knows that Mikha is kinda overthinking and she is sure that theres a lot of things are going through on the latter's mind. Hence, the explanation of Mikhas impulsive decisions. She was hurt by her lover's decision. But Jhoanna understands where Aiah is coming from. The pressure of school and being an idol plus the controversy that she is dealing with is too much for the eldest. And this is what Jhoanna wants both to talk about.

Jhoanna: "Mag usap na muna kayong dalawa please lang. Mikha dont be stubborn. Makinig ka muna kay Ate Aiah. I understand what you feel Mikhs. Ramdam kita kanina pa. You are hurting but your response and they way you act, Ate Aiah is hurting also. Mikhaela takes a deep breath. Try to listen to each other. I am just here pagkatapos niyo mag usap. Hindi ako nagmamadali sa maging desisyon niyo. And I will aways be here for both of you whatever it is. We are always here for you."
