a/n: so... yes hello i'm back with another series! i hope you enjoy this one because tbh i really missed writing things like this! just a heads up: it'll be updating at least 1-2 times a week (maybe 3!) so stay tuned! i was super eager to make another because a lot of you seemed to really enjoy scaramouche's (which btw: thank you for all the support!) series and were interested in my other works hehe :D

about the story/warnings:
genre: comedic-fluff (will have a lot of angst woven in!)
pronouns: it'll be gender neutral! please do keep me in check if i accidentally use female ones!!
- height, skin color, eye color, attire, and hair color are not explicitly mentioned here! i'm writing this so it's a complete self insert so you don't have to worry about any of it (except for your vision and weapon! that'll be provided for you otherwise it'll be too chaotic so scroll down for that info!)
- sexual content will be appearing in the future, so please be aware! warnings will be displayed in chapters that contain it, so keep an eye out in case you don't want to read that.
- there's going to be fights so that'll also include blood, gore, and some more mature stuff
- obv swearing is in here tee hee
- this is a cyno fanfiction, so horrible jokes will be added! don't worry, he'll explain all of them in GREAT detail for those of you who might get confused (i was checking comments on the scara series i wrote and some of you didn't get the pita pocket joke so i might make references here to that lol)
- warnings will be displayed at the top of the page so please don't worry :) no warnings for cyno's jokes though!
- sex jokes will be made too :)
- the main story is taking place BEFORE the overthrowing of the sages and nahida's release, so there's no fancy time loops or anything like that! it's very simple and plain, and my brain would cry trying to wrap my head around it lol (it will bleed into the archon quest for sumeru though!)
- not all quotes will be completely accurate because obv you're another additional character!
- some characters might be OOC or based off of my own headcannons!
- note: the story DOES NOT FOLLOW THE ORIGINAL PLOTLINE OF SUMERU! at a certain point, it will, but other than that, please do not assume that the plotline is the same :)

your weapon: catalyst, however you're more than adept with many other weapons including throwing knives and daggers! you're capable of using any weapon and infusing it with your cryo abilities, making you a really versatile warrior
