I still don't understand how he is so calm about all of this, I'm still pretty livid about marrying someone I barely know. As the words "look on the bright side of things" rang through my mind

"So i'm just wondering about food are you alergi-" he started

My phone rang "im sorry hold on-" i said and answered

"what is it kai?" i said "i need adviceee" he said "on?" i said "girls, why are they so complicated?" he said "i wish i knew man, but can i call you back im in a meeting" i said "ooo with your husba-" he started as i cut him off "IM HANGING UP NOW-" i said and hung up the phone

"Sorry again" i said "some ringtone you got there." he said and laughed lightly "ahh yeah" i said and laughed lightly along with him and mentally slapped myself "continue please" i said "right, as i was saying before, are you allergic to anything? Or is there anything you don't want to be there" he said "seafood- i can't stand it" i said and made a disgusted face "got it no seafood" he said

We ended up talking for a few hours before he had to leave to do something at the office

'Was this a date?' I thought to myself and shook my head roughly. No no no beomgyu that was not. Snap out of it what the hell are you even thinking. Irrational thats what it is

"Jesus kai.." i said to myself before answering the call "what do you want from me you menace" 

"Yah don't think i didn't hear that giggle in the background! You we're on a date with that dude weren't you!?" kai screamed from the other end of the phone "Yah! It's not a date it's a meeting there is a difference!" i retorted back "and im jesus, WHEN WERE YOU GONNA TELL ME" he screamed "yah my ear drums!" i yelled back while walking out of the café bowing to the workers as they were closing up the café for the evening "are you just now leaving? Did he not drive you home. Jeez so inconsiderate" kai said "he left a few hours ago." i said "nah call him right now and ask him to drive you home" kai said "but-" i started "but nothing Choi Beomgyu. Call him right now or you'll be seeing your ancestors by this time tomorrow" he said and hung up as i sighed in defeat

I got out my phone and got the number my dad had sent me to the 'Kang residence' and i called

"Hello kang residence" a women on the other end of the phone said "Hi this is Choi Beomgyu, i'm looking for Taehyun?" i said "ah okay hold on- HYUNIE, PHONE." she said muffled. Assuming she pulled the phone away from her ear "hello?" he said "Taehyun- it's uh, Beomgyu" i said "why are you calling at this hour?" he asked "uhm i'm just now leaving the café and i was wondering if i could get a ride" i said with a small cough at the end of my sentence "you want a ride?" he said "thats what i said yes" i said and looked down at my feet "okay, i'll be there in a few just stand in front im not gonna search around for you" he said and cut the line

A car eventually pulled up and rolled down the window "get in" he said as i walked to the car door and opened it and got in and put my seatbelt on

"Why were you here so long?" he asked as he started driving "uhm i was working on some things" i said and nodded slightly "why did you call me for a ride?" he asked "it was cold so i didn't want to walk home and get sick" i said and looked around nervously knowing damn well that was a lie "Beomgyu. Its 70 degrees out" he said "what was the real reason" he added and glanced over to me for a second "uhhm.. Well uh- my friend told me to call" i mumbled "again, i didn't hear you" he said "myfriendtoldmetocall-" i mumbled a bit louder and spoke faster "yah Choi Beomgyu i don't like the mumbling, speak clearly." he said sternly and for a split second my heart skipped a beat faster "my friend told me to call" i said "and why's that?" he said "because he thought we were on a date- Which we weren't!- for the recorded" i said and folded my arms as he laughed "well im glad you called and asked" he said "yahh focus on driving" i said and looked out the window throughout the entire ride until we reached my house
