When Dr Eggman's dimensional gateway causes Mario's and Sonic's worlds to merge into one he teams up with the Koopa King himself Bowser to rule it. It's now up to Mario, Sonic and all their friends to put a stop to this new threat

Luigi: makes a guy lucky having a peaceful-a day.... so peaceful it's-a almost boring
Mario: I see your point-a. Especially since it's our day off from plumbing. Bowser hasn't attacked in a few months-a either. Say we haven't seen-a Peach in a while. Let's-a see how she's doing
Luigi: yeah that'd be cool. Shall we see if-a Yoshi wants to come?
Mario: sure. You go wait outside while I go wake him up-a
Luigi: okie dokie *walks outside*
Mario then heads up to his bedroom to find Yoshi sleeping on his bed
Mario: *whispers* Yoshi. Psst. Hey Yoshi
Yoshi: *wakes up* huh! What happened? Oh hi Mario
Mario: have a good-a nap lil buddy?
Yoshi: yes I did. I was dreaming about a giant apple
Mario: that's-a nice. Anyway Luigi and I were heading to the castle wanna come?
Yoshi: of course buddy! I'd like to come! What are waiting for?! Let's-
Luigi: *voice* Mario! Yoshi! Come quick!

They head downstairs to find Luigi looking rather worried
Yoshi: something wrong Luigi?

They look up to find Bowser's airships flying towards Peach's castle in the distance
Mario: oh mama mia not again
Yoshi: hop on my back guys. I'll get us to the castle faster than you can say the Virtual Boy stinks
Mario: okie dokie. But first let's-a stock up on some-a power ups and then we'll get going
It was a tight squeeze but Mario and Luigi get on Yoshi's back and they make their way towards Peach's castle
Meanwhile at the castle Bowser and his troops make their way through the halls fighting off forces as they go
Bowser: Army Bro I'll need you and a squadron of your best Bros to storm the castle while I handle Peach
Army Bro: yes sir
Bowser: Boom Boom, Pom Pom you'll back Army Bro up
Boom Boom: *cracks his knuckles* you got it
Pom Pom: what do we do if Mario shows up boss?
Bowser: if he does you'll keep him busy while I sneak off with the princess
Toad: you won't be sneaking off anywhere if we have anything to say about-
Bowser: oh shut up
He then throws Toad away
Toadette: Toad! Why you- *gets thrown by Bowser too*
Back with Team Mario they arrive outside the castle
Mario: wow look at this-a place. Now let's just-a find Peach and-
Yoshi: Mario look!
They turn to see Bowser flying away in his clown car with Peach tied up
Peach: let go of me at once Bowser!
Bowser: only if you marry me princess. Now let's go home so you can bake me a cake instead
Mario: princess!
Peach: huh? Mario! Help me!
Bowser: huh? It's you! Never mind gotta fly!
He then flies away leaving Team Mario wondering what to do
Luigi: what do we do now Mario?!
Yoshi: yeah! I'm only fast enough to carry one person if we wish to catch up to Bowser
Mario: you and Luigi go on-a foot-a I'll make my own way up *runs off*
Luigi: well what are we waiting for Yoshi! Let's-a go!
Yoshi: okay!
Both Luigi and Yoshi then run
Toad: hey guys wait up for us!
Toadette: yeah! We wanna help too!
Mario: *takes out a super leaf* don't-a Peach. I'm coming *transforms into Raccoon Mario*

He then flies off into the sky and is able to catch up to Bowser and Peach
Raccoon Mario: let her go Bowser!
Bowser: huh?! You again?! Take this!
He then fires canons from the clown car but Mario dodges and is able to catch up to Bowser until..
Peach: guys what is that?
Raccoon Mario-Bowser: huh?!
All of a sudden the same bright flash of light from the last chapter covers everything
