I don't know where to begin with this so apologies if this comes off as rambling and out of order ^^¨
Back in July 2016 I found this template on Gaiaonline made by the user @xTurqoiseDragonxn. As the title says, it was an extremely detailed character sheet which anyone can use to write and create their own characters for whatever story or creative project you have in mind. Didn't think much of it, I just found a template that I liked and wanted to share it since the original post at the time didn't have that many views. So I posted it here and I didn't expect much to come of it and not long after I stopped using Wattpad. Fast forward to today when I'm getting a security notification that I should secure my account here due to a leak and I log on for the first time in seven years and find out this post has over 45k views, was ranked 4th out of 691 in Sheets and 30th in Template?! ....WHAT?!
I can't believe i've missed all this! Don't really have any excuses apart from school and personal reasons for going offline but how on earth I managed to miss this blows my mind. Doubt this means much now since this post is pretty old now but still WOW!! I'm in disbelief!
Of course nowadays there's a lot more resources online for all us character creators to enjoy so this template may not have that big of an impact anymore. But it certainly has made an impact on me. I've always had a passion for creating fictional worlds and stories. I am still writing down all my ideas regularly in the hopes of one day being able to put together something I can be truly proud of and share with the world. I know I still have a lot to learn but rediscovering this account and this post has gotten me fired up with such motivation I haven't felt in a long time.
I'm not sure exactly where to go from here, I am currently working on two major projects but it's still very much in its baby stages so I might not be able to share anything big anytime soon. But seeing how much people enjoyed this template I'm thinking that maybe I can attempt to make my own extremely detailed character sheet template that wraps this whole thing together. After all, it seems like the right thing to make an update since I've pretty much missed out on all the feedback from when I first posted.
Unfortunately I can't find the original post anymore nor the creator which is a shame but I do hope they got the much deserved credit. If you ever read this Turquoise, I hope you don't get mad that I lowkey reposted your template and see how much of an influence you've made on not just me but thousands of other creators in the world. You've inspired me in a small but important way to keep doing what I love and I'll be forever grateful for that.
