"Mom you can't!" I protested. "You absolutely can not leave us here with those three guys!"

"I told you Alie your father and I and Mr. and Mrs. Steelwind are going to Las Vegas and you are to help Eli keep everyone in line oh and yes I can very well leave you here with those three guys." she said giving me a 'and that's final' look.

"Fine but I don't have to like it!" I yelled as I stomped into my room slamming the door behind me an hour later while I was lost in a book my door burst open and in walks Eli. "God you could have at least knocked!" he shrugged at me."Can you get out?" I ask him he shakes his head walking around my room and looking at all the posters. Then his phone rings.

"Hello?" he says and then I hear some high pitched frantic yelling from the other line."Babe calm down. Yes I am over her house but that's just because my parents and hers..." he stopped as the girl on the other line (I assumed was his girlfriend) started yelling again. "So you're going to brake up with me because my parents are going on a trip and I'm staying over a girls house. Fine then good bye and good radiance." he regarded me  with a look.

"What?"

"This is kind of your fault." he said almost laughing.

"How is it my fault?" I asked him getting defensive.

"If you would have just let me talk to you about my dream then I wouldn't have called my girl friend and she wouldn't have broken up with me just now." he said. And even though I hated to admit it i followed his logic and he was right.

"Just for that I'm giving Blake and Maddy so much sugar that they will be uncontrollable." I smirked at him.

"Oh yeah?" he asked and I nodded. "Then I'll tickle you like when we were kids." he said and then he ran at me like he did when we were five years old.

ONE TICKLE WAR LATER

"Alexsis, Elijah were leaving come say good bye!" my mother called us down. After good byes were said Eli walked out the back door and disappeared I got worried so I wandered off to find him. When i did he was crouched by the creek talking to someone or something I flew up into the trees and hung on a branch right above him I looked down and saw Eli talking to a demon.

"Eli!" I yelled jumping out of the tree and landing between him and the demon.The creature hissed at me I lifted my hand and called Blaze the sword appeared. Once the demon saw the sword it took to the air I did the same it tried to fly to Eli but I blocked it's path with my sword after several long minutes of fighting the beast finally gave up and flew off. I landed on the ground panting I felt Blaze hilt slip from my grasp and I started swaying Eli caught me before I hit the ground. "Take me inside." i told him he did and once we crossed the doorway Kate and Maddy were right there.

"What happened?!" Kate worried.

"Demon idiot here was talking to it I fought it." she went to go get the sephrim but I grabbed her arm. "We need to go." she nodded acknowledging that we did.

"Maddy pack up I'm going to get the sephrim." Kate ordered.

"Whats a seprim?" Blake wondered mispronouncing the word.

"Go get our stuff." Eli told him and Felix once they were gone he turned to me. "Explain." was all he said.

"We are angels well half angels, somewhere along our family line an angel fell in love with a human they had children and thus we came into existence. The sephrim was sent down by God each angel family has one it heals us from the time we are born until we either go to heaven or are in full control of our powers that thing you were talking to was a demon and it wanted to kill you when there aura comes in contact with ours we..." I trailed off not sure how to tell him.

"You what? Alex I need to know!" he said I flinched at the urgency in his voice.

"We start to die! That's why I need the sephrim, to heal me." I finished.

"Why do we need to leave you scared it off?" he said.

"Demon's do what ever it takes to get there prey even if they die too, so it will be back and we don't want to be here when it is." just then Kate came back with the sephrim she handed it to me.

"Where are we gonna go?" she asked me as I laid back and put the sephrim over my heart.

"I don't know." I said as my whole body alit with an unearthly glow. "Mom and dad are using the cabin in Navada."

"Yeah shoot, we could get some camping gear." she said as Eli's jaw droped.

"Wait the RV we could use that." I just now remebered it. "And Eli don't your parents have a cabin in the mountians?" I asked him he shook him self back to reality and answerd.

"Yeah we could use it." then everyone else came down I handed the sephrim back to Kate and we told them where we were going.
