The Guy Outside My Window

Chapter 1 - Is This Fate?

(Narrator's pov)

Mitsuba sat in a chair by the window, staring over a kingdom that was soon to be his. "This is so lameeee" He said, collapsing back. "I wish something would happen"

At that moment a baseball flew through breaking his window.

Mitsuba sat up, looking in curiosity.

There stood a guy down there. "Sorry!" He yelled up at the window.

At that moment Mitsuba's world stopped. The guy was handsome and Mitsuba had barely ever been talked to in his life.

'This guy... this absolute peasant.. I have to have him.' Mitsuba thought, standing up.

A few butlers knocked on the door. "Your majesty Sousuke, is everything alright?" One of them asked. Normally he would ask for them to cut off the head of the person but there was something special about this guy. "Come in" he replied and the butlers rushed in, cleaning the shards and replacing the window.

After the butlers left Mitsuba shut and locked the door then ran to the window, opening it and sitting with his feet hanging outside of the window. The blondie down on the ground saw him and stared at him. Acting like he was ignoring the blond guy, Mitsuba looked to the side.

In a little over a minute he noticed the guy, climb up a vine on the side of the castle underneath him. Mitsuba was wearing a dress so he assumed he must be trying to look up it and hopped back into the room, slamming the window shut. "PERVERT, I'm the soon to be king so stay away from my underwear!!!" He shouted loudly. The guy just hopped up onto the other side of the window, sitting there. "I'm not doing that..." he said, looking through the window at the pink haired boy. "But how could you not?! I mean look how cute I am! I bet you just want to charm me into giving up my princely status!!!!" Mitsuba replied, leaning towards him on the other side of the window.

They both made eye contact. "I just thought you looked lonely" The blond boy spoke. "My name's Kou, I'm a guard here." Mitsuba felt his cheeks turn red. "Well I'm sure you already know my name! I'm prince Mitsuba and I'm the prettiest of the royalty." He answered, smirking. "A lot prettier then your hella-lame traffic-safety-earring" He added. "Hey my earring isn't ugly" Kou said as Mitsuba giggled. Mitsuba opened the window to let him in since he has nothing better to do.

Kou stood in the window and took his hand. "I've never seen you leave the castle, we should go explore!" Kou said, looking at the pink haired prince. Mitsuba opened his mouth then closed it. His father wouldn't want him to leave but the castle is so boring. "I'll go if you stay with me" The prince said, looking to the side, blushing. Kou smiled as he pulled Mitsuba up into his arms, picking him up. "Wha- You pervert! Puts me down!" Mitsuba screamed, waving his legs around. "I can't protect you if I don't hold you!" The knight Kou replied, jumping out of the window. "I can protect myself!!!!" Mitsuba screamed back as they fell down from the castle window.
