°•°• "it is not a something we can brush over? a thing like that was said many years ago aswell and see where it led us , them almost infiltrating the crown and now they have the alliances with meeren" said jaelys making alicent roll her eyes lightly°•°•

°•°• "surely meeren can be put to the ground with no trouble" the queen said sipping her wine , jaelys looked at alicent as if she was stupid "they train slaves into merciless soilders as they are known as the unsullied, they hold many ships and gold that could give the triarchy the advantage it needs to harm the crown , so where exactly could they put down with ease as you ever so proudly state?" she said slowly to the queen as if she was talking to a child°•°•

°•°• rhaenyra held her head down trying to conceal a laugh—well aswell as some of the council men and the king seem to be in his own little world . alicent narrowed her eyes at the woman who inturn titled her head raising her brow awaiting her°•°•

°•°• and with no response the tall woman continued on "as i was saying" she said giving alicent a look before turning to the king , rhaenyra looked amused as she finally saw alicent silent and humiliated. the green queen couldn't even use her queen status to silence jaelys , everyone knew the velaryon woman was not one to be crossed high status or not—especially when it came to her family°•°•

°•°• "i propose we try to make some sort of peace offering with the slave masters before they could fall through and attack kings landing" the maester spoke up with his reasoning, rhaenyra furrowed her brows at it "and you expect the free city will accept our offer with an open heart?" asked the princess°•°•

°•°• the maester folded his lips trying to sum up on his reply but nothing came to mind making rhaenyra hum "lady jaelys has defeated the triarchy and was named queen of the narrow sea... yet has left it undefended" alicent quipped narrowing her eyes to rhaenyra°•°•

°•°• the princess stared blankly at the woman "we have left it undefended" replied rhaenyra sternly as she leaned forward staring deep into alicents emerald ones "there should've been fortifications built, watchtowers, a fleet of ships, a garrison of soldiers sent to hold our ground—which we can offered due to my wife's constant relationship with the capital and the crown debts has been paid for many decades to come" stated the princess°•°•

°•°• "so why has this been put aside everytime when we have the necessary to take action , my wife along with the velaryon army had almost lost their lives during that war yet all we did was sit around and wait until it blew over. what will the people think of us if all we do is sit in our castles and fawn in our riches whilst they suffer the consequences of wars?" rhaenyra said as she looked around the table°•°•

°•°• alicent scoffed "we can't possibly provide each and every in kings landing when we ourselves need it to survive" said the queen , rhaenyra was the one to scoff now "we have absolutely more than enough to provide not only for ourselves but for others who are in desperate need for it. i'm do not mean for every to have all our riches given but a simple start can progress into something much more" °•°•

°•°• "like what exactly?" alicent rose her brow , everyone in the council could see the clear thick tension between the princess and the queen "clearing out the waste that sickens them constantly , have the builders take down those old ones that are almost topple over each other and have them built decent size shelters—maybe even clear out some areas and let harvested grow fresh crops so they could have fresh and nutritional food in their systems to prevent them from getting ill and malnourished" argued rhaenyra°•°•

°•°• alicent stayed still as she glowered at the princess , jaelys looked to her wife in pride and viserys smiled fondly at his daughter. mayhaps he was right in naming her his heir "that could all be arranged if ofcourse the king agrees to it" all eyes turned to the king as alicents particularly hard ones stared heatedly at viserys as if she dared him to agree with rhaenyra°•°•

°•°• viserys nodded with a faint smile "a wonderous idea that was given yes" the king said with a slight wheeze as his health was not the best as years went by , alicent felt her anger raise as she clenched her jaw°•°•

°•°• "also another thing" jaelys said as she turned her eyes to the angered queen "by all means this obvious strife between our families can be put aside for the sake of our children" the velaryon woman started off and as much as she hated the idea of having her children being wedded off , it was their duties "but we are one house i suppose ...our eldest son jacaerys will inherit my wife's throne after her and we would like to propose that we betroth our son to your daughter helaena" said jaelys°•°•

°•°• rhaenyra too didn't like the idea of her children being wedded off especially not into house hightower but her half siblings had done no harm nor ill will to her and she loved them even if aegon was a prick to her children. her sweet sister helaena was her favorite and rhaenyra could see the small bond jace and helaena had so she brought this idea up to her wife in hopes they could announce this to the council°•°•

°•°•"let them rule together" jaelys offered , viserys smiled with a nod "a most judicious proposition" the king nodded "additionally, if syrax brings forth another clutch of eggs ...your son aemond will have his choice of them. a symbol of our goodwill" rhaenyra said °•°•

°•°• viserys hummed "a dragon egg is a handsome gift my dear" the king said to his daughter as rhaenyra smiled "the king and i thank you for your offer" alicent said hastily as she gave them a tight lipped smile "you must rest now husband" she said to the king°•°•

°•°•"ah yes ,you may all go" they all stood as viserys walked out the room with alicent to his side and slowly all the lords left . jaelys helped rhaenyra up as the princess smiled in thanks but it was quickly replaced with a grimace as a sudden pain struck her belly°•°•

°•°• she gasped lightly holding her stomach as she furrowed her brows "you alright darling?" asked jaelys concerned,  rhaenyra breathed out lightly as she closed her eyes for a few moments feeling the pain fade before she looked to her wife giving her a smile "mhm-hm...just need to get off my feet" she assured the woman°•°•

°•°• jaelys was still worried as they walked to their courters "you sure? i could call the maesters" rhaenyra shook her head "just a little pain that's all , nothing to fret about my love" the princess said °•°•

°•°• the tall woman squinted her eyes but rhaenyra narrowed hers as the two gave each other hard stubborn looks , yet rhaenyra ultimately won their little eye contest "you tell me immediately if something is wrong" said jaelys with a small frown°•°•

°•°• rhaenyra rolled her eyes smiling "yes jaelys, now please my feet are killing me" groaned the princess but that groan turned into a small yelp when the princess was suddenly off her feet in into jaelys arms "jaelys!" rhaenyra said in surprise , the tall woman simply shrugged carrying her wife in bridal style°•°•

°•°• "you said your feet were hurting" rhaenyra huffed "yes but-"she was cut off "but nothing my beautiful wife , now hush you complaints" rhaenyra scowled but kept her mouth shut eventually relaxing in her wifes arms°•°•

A/N: yes i mentioned the unsullied because they're cool kay, and i just made that up with the whole meeren thing because dorne is already allied with the crown due to the marriage pack so yeah . and i made up everything else so don't question it kk :)
